Pune: With International Mother’s Day falling on the 8th of May, children all across the world are busy preparing for it and mothers all across the world are waiting for it. Lila Poonawalla Foundation decided to take the first initiative and honour Mothers in the best possible way. To honour the nature’s most powerful phenomenon, LPF had organized a Stress Management Seminar, for the Mothers and their daughters.
The workshop titled “Stress Management through Thoughtfulness” was conducted by Mr. Ashok Kumar Mishra (Corporate Trainer, Project Guide). The workshop was conducted for the Lila Fellows (2010-2014) and their mothers. The workshop covered various topics such as Why Stress? How stress develops, Result of the stress and Coping up with stress. The workshop focussed upon various tricks to cope up with the daily stress that plagues our lives.
When prodded about how much they liked the program “More such Mother-Daughter programs should be arranged for us” pat came the reply from the happy and positive Mother-Daughter pairs, with a huge smile on their face.
