Pune, February 22, 2019: MP Anil Shirole paid a visit today at the office of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) to understand the working of the department and also to know about air quality and pollution in Pune.
The MP had a discussion with Dilip Khedkar, Regional Officer, MPCB, Pune, Nitin Shinde, Kiran Hasabnis, Herambprasad Gandhe, Sub-Regional Officers and Ramakant Sorte, Senior, Scientific Officer.
He got the in-depth information about pollutants affecting Pune, measurement of air quality and pollution control measures. Shirole also visited MPCB’s laboratory which is involved with the research about environment conservation.
