PUNE: India’s longest running adventure reality show is back with its 17th season. Keeping up with the theme of bringing about a social change this season, Roadies Revolution pumped up the buzz in the sprawling city of Pune with a bike rally that was organized on Tuesday, 14th January, a day before the Pune auditions.
echo the noble cause of Road Safety in the city, the bike rally which started
from Classic Rock Café, Kalyani Nagar at 5pm was infused with local elements of
the city. From girls wearing Nauvari sarees to young men in their traditional
Puneri avatar, Team Roadies Revolution along with the celebrity leaders Neha
Dhupia, Nikhil Chinapa and host
Rannvijay Singha joined the rally on a bike and took over the streets with the
true Roadie spirit, at the same time advocating for the noble cause of safe and
responsible driving. The culmination of the rally at Phoenix Mall saw the crowd
in huge numbers cheering for the celebrity leaders and welcoming Roadies
Revolution in the city with open arms.
not all, the evening got more lit, in the typical Puneri style! With lezim
dance and the dhols that left a roaring cheer in the crowd, the Roadie fanatics
also got lucky as a few of them got a chance to win ‘Jump The Queue’ passes
that gave them the opportunity to skip the long queues at the audition and
directly get an entry into the GD. Also joining the celebrations were some of
the popular contestants from previous seasons of Roadies.
