On 31st July all across Mumbai & Delhi NCR
Mumbai’s hyper-local startup Ease Your Life (EYL) that offers personal assistance at your doorstep, has come up with a noble initiative to up the spirit of Rakhi celebration in the city. On July 31, they will provide a free service for all Mumbaikars & Delhiets who want to send their love to their siblings. “To make sure the COVID 19 scenario doesn’t hamper the spirit of celebrations, we have decided to deliver Rakhis for our customers across the city for free,” says co-founder of EYL Shashwat Bhatt.
Ease Your Life has also distributed free Rakhis to frontline workers such as Police Officials, Doctors and health Workers, to pay respect and gratitude towards selfless work.
Besides the free delivery of Rakhis, EYL has also started an online Rakhi Pop-up store between July 22 and August 1. This is to promote small local businesses that make handmade products such as quirky rakhis, homemade sweets, and gift articles. Some of the local vendors that EYL has tied up with and helping are Jasleen Sethi who has her home brand called ‘Baking Mommy’, ‘Sindulgence by Drishti Makhija’ that makes edible rakhi hampers, ‘Chatter Box’ that makes quirky rakhis, ‘Rajgarias’ which makes traditional sweets and namkeens, ‘Little Birdie’ that specializes in personalized gifting, Adler’s Den by Shweta Jain, who makes handcrafted artisan chocolates and many more.
The idea behind this online pop-up store is to be ‘Vocal for Local’ this festival season. Says co-founder, Jaymin Trivedi, “These local brands from Mumbai have been our vendors for years, and the pandemic has affected businesses of many. By using our platform, we want to boost their business by helping them deliver their products anywhere across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.”
Ease Your Life offers pick up and delivery services among many others such as home repairs, bank, and shopping assistance in Mumbai, Delhi and NCR. Their services start at INR 40, and charged according to the distance and weight.
