Pune:‘Navrang’, a unique exhibition, will highlight the most vivid and vibrant work of nine contemporary lady artists which includes well-acclaimed designers from different parts of the city. Shruti Bhagdikar, Ananya Bose, Deepali Pathak, Archana S. Kulkarni, Preetam Tulshibagwale, Sonali Rane, Pranali Parasnis, Shamala Lonkar and Deepti Bawane have come together to showcase their extraordinary works.
The artifacts will be exhibited from Wednesday, October 9 to Sunday, October 13, 11am to 7.30pm at Darpan Art Gallery at Kalachhaya Campus, Patrakar Nagar. The entry to the exhibition is free for all.
Shruti Bhagdikar has started ‘Jhumka jewellery’ with an urge to do something creative. She designs and makes handcrafted Silver Jewellery using semi-precious beads, cultured pearls, and synthetic gemstones.
Ananya Bose has started a brand named ‘Mrida’ that is all about recycling, up-cycling, reusing and creating beauty out of trash. She makes bookmarks, postcards, art prints, Kindle covers, bottle planters, pots, coasters, fridge magnets and much more.
Dipali Pathak is a blooming crocheter who loves to make innovative designs with the traditional art of crochet. She has come up with a brand ‘Craft Zone’ that presents crochet jewellery, bookmarks, Amigurumi toys and unique home decor items.
Archana Kulkarni has come up with a brand of bath and body care named ‘Nirvighna’. She manufactures organic soaps and shampoos using cold-pressed oils in appropriate proportion.
Preetam Tulshibagwale has a fond of environment and consults for all kinds of home gardens and presents Terrarium, miniature gardens, Cacti and Sacculants and a unique collection of indore plants.
Sonali Rane pursued her creativity and came up with some amazing designs in Cotton fabric. She makes reversible jackets, Quilt pattern shoulder bags, sling bags, fabric jewellery and decorative pieces.
Pranali Parasnis will present hand-painted dress materials. Tanjore paintings and Egyptian paintings is her speciality.
Shamala Lonkar who has come up with her brand ‘Iora Creations’ makes sling bags, table runners and block printed stoles.
Dipti Bawane in her collection ‘Mruda’, will showcase handmade clay cookware, tableware, platers, pots, miniature pots, clay water bottles and artefacts.
