Pune, March 02, 2019: INIFD Deccan organised its Annual Day – Madizers 2019 on February 25, 2019, at Nehru Memorial Hall, Camp that truly lived up to the expectations of one and all. The event is the one that each student waits for every year. From dance performances (solo, duo and group) to singing to confessions being read out loud, this year’s Madizers was a complete hit. The students were pepped-up during the last two weeks with in-house competitions, auditions for main day performances!
The Jury and Chief Guest for the event was Mrs Sania Siddiqui. She is a conscious socialite, the Founder of Humjoli Foundation, a Health & Wellness Coach, Blogger, and an Author. She is also the city’s leading and successful health & lifestyle blogger and social influencer. Apart from being The Co-Founder of a non-profit school, she has recently authored a bestselling humour fiction – My Stuff Speaks. Her motto is to ‘Reach & Teach’, and, for her exemplary work in this field she is conferred with ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Award’ in New Delhi recently.
INIFD Deccan believes that every student requires having a little madness for them to be a good designer. Every designer is a good designer because there is a level of madness in every artist. It is this madness that requires them to be left unleashed once a year to refresh their creativity and artistic side. The students who showcased at the NEW YORK FASHION WEEK were also felicitated. Apart from this, the staff members also used this day to bust their stress and let their hair down. Last but not least, the list of spectacular performances saw a heart touching act as a tribute to the lives lost in the recent PULWAMA ATTACK. Let’s hope that each one of us strives to make a significant change in the lives of others to demonstrate love, peace and sobriety.
