Pune: Oyster & Pearl Hospitals celebrated Dandiya Nite Event on October 17, 2015 at the Alpa Bachat Bhavan for all the ONP Staff, Consultants & Associates. It was indeed an occasion to rejoice and celebrate the 7th successful year of dedicated service to patient care. Over hundreds of ONP Employees along with their families stepped out of their daily routine passionately to take part in this Colourful Event. Rangoli Competition was also organized for the Staff at the venue.
The Event started with Lamp Lightening & Aarti by the Staff, in the presence of Dr. Avinash Phadnis & Dr. Amita Phadnis. Dandiya was performed during Aarti as devotional performances in the honor of the Goddess. Employees were traditionally dressed in a colorful embroidered Ghagra choli dazzling with mirror work and heavy jewellery. The Dancers were accompanied by the music performed by Professional Singers and Musicians. The staff with their family played Dandiya in a graceful and rhythmic manner. The site of hundreds of Staff swaying on the beats of Dandiya Music was elegant & awe-inspiring. The sticks when struck together in a rhythm, produced foot tapping musical waves.
