San Simeon Pines Resort is ideally situated in the heart of central California and just off the Pacific Coast Highway, providing easy access to Hearst Castle, downtown Cambria, local wineries, the Piedras Blancas elephant seal sanctuary and other coastal charms. San Simeon Pines joins Pacifica Hotels’ Cambria collection which includes the recently renovated Pelican Inn & Suites, FogCatcher Inn, Cambria Landing Inn & Suites, and Fireside Inn on Moonstone Beach, and El Colibri Hotel & Spa which was acquired in October of 2015.
“We are excited to add San Simeon Pines Seaside Resort to our Cambria portfolio. We believe there is a tremendous amount of upside in this large coastal property, said Matt Marquis, CEO and President of Pacifica Hotels. “In this rising market, we are excited to find these hidden gems along the California coastline that strategically fit perfectly with Pacifica’s overall vision.”
The acquisition of San Simeon Pines Resort was led by Vice President of Investments & Acquisitions, Matthew Kou.
For the past three years, Pacifica has focused primarily on refining and growing its portfolio through strategic asset acquisitions, full-property renovations, and transitioning branded properties to independent status. By reinvesting in coastal boutique and lifestyle hotels, Pacifica seeks to offer guests the ultimate California experience with choices from the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego.
