Pune: During the inauguration of ‘Taalanubhuti’ Foundation, solo performances on tabla by Padmashree Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar mesmerized the audience at Sawai Gandhrva Smarak recently. He was accompanied by Ajinkya Galande (Calabash), Savani Talwalkar– Gadgil (Tabla), Pt Suresh Talwalkar (Tabla), Nagesh Adgaonkar (Vocal), Tanmay Deochake (Harmonium), Umesh Warbhuvan (Cajon).
Founded by Rohit Mujumdar, Taalanubhuti was inaugurated at the hands of Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. The main objective behind ‘Taalaanubhuti’ is to introduce the art of Tabla playing and Indian Classical Music to younger pupils and motivate them to perceive this art.
