Islamabad: At least two people were killed and 30 injured in a suicide blast in Pakistan’s tribal area of Khyber Agency on Tuesday, a media report said.
A political administrator’s convoy was targeted as soon as he left his office in Jamrud of Khyber Agency, a restive tribal region along Pakistan-Afghanistan border, Xinhua reported citing Urdu TV channel ARY.
The official escaped unhurt in the suicide bombing.
The injured people, including a number of paramilitary troopers, have been shifted to a hospital.
