“PRIDE OF INDIA” AWARDS TO JOLLY & MEHTA
New Delhi, Oct, 06, 2016 : Today Senior Indian BJP leaders Vijay Jolly &
Vijay Mehta, also President & Vice President Delhi Study Group returned to
India after a successful trip to London to Promote People to People
Friendship between India & Great Britain.
*At London PM Narendra Modi was cheered & hailed at non-resident Indian
(NRI) meets organized in honor of visiting Indian BJP leaders. BJP
President Amit Shah was loudly acclaimed for making BJP the largest
political party in the world. *
They were honored with *”Pride of India”* awards at a glittering program.
And in the august presence of Lord Raj Loomba (British Parliamentarian),
prominent businessmen Dr. Rami Ranger MBE, hotelier Joginder Sanger, Prof.

Pathak OBE, President Punjabi Society of British Isles & Managing Director

Rt. Hon’ble Baroness Verma honored BJP leader Jolly at British Parliament,
House of Lords in Cholmondley Room organized by NRI Society of India led by
Sardar Deepak Singh & Gurinder Singh. And when *Jolly stated* *”Modi is
Best & Strong Willed Prime Minister of India as demonstrated by surgical
strikes inside Pakistan by Indian Military to destroy terrorist camps. And
India today led by PM Modi is firmly determined to combat & destroy

gathering,Jolly was loudly cheered & Modi hailed in the precincts of
British Parliament. *
Jolly & Mehta were honored by National Congress of Gujarati Organizations
UK led by President C.J. Rabheru, where Vijay Mehta in his address claimed
that today India enjoys Worldwide respect. India Passports holders are
admired while Indian economy has achieved growth rate of 7.5 to 8%. And it
is due to Modi ji’s good-governance & sound economic policies. Both were
also honored at Mahatma Gandhi Foundation led by Prof J. Dave & Nitibhen
Gheewala, greeting & meetings with British Parliamentarian Bob Blackman,
Mayor of Harrow Mrs Rekha Shah & Manoj Patel-Owner Kadwa Patidar Centre,
London.

at Tavistok Square. Latter at India House, they witnessed live TV
inauguration ceremony of Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra held at New Delhi. And
heard speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Foreign Minister Smt.
Sushma Swaraj in the company of Navtej Sarna, Indian High Commissioner,
London and now Ambassador designate to United States of America along with
assembled large gathering of non-resident Indians in United Kingdom. *
They also attended a program at the Parliament Square, London & offered
floral tributes in-front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue unveiled in Jan 2015 by
then British PM David Cameron, Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley & Film
Star Amitabh Bachchan. This program organized by National Association of
Patidar Samaj and Gita Foundation (UK) was addressed by visiting BJP leader
Vijay Jolly and Mayor of Harrow Mrs.Rekha Shah.
Jolly on his London pravas forcefully eulogized the Good- Governance of
Modi govt. during its first 29 months in centre, coupled with grand success
of Make in India & Digital India campaigns, building 2.5 crore toilets
under Swachh Bharat & Swasth Bharat Abhiyan, decision for 100 Smart New
City’s, resolve to build 50 million new houses by 2020, Jan Dhan scheme
resulting in 24 crore (240 million) new bank accounts in rural India
netting Rs 43,000 crore deposits, 38 lakh new free gas connections to poor
womens, electrifying nearly 10279 villages and targeting to empower 1 crore
youth under Skill Development program were informative for the large Indian
Origin population in UK
