New Delhi, 8th Dec 2018: Senior BJP leader & Ex-Delhi MLA Vijay Jolly today organized “Hawan” ceremony for the longevity & good health of BJP MP & Journalist Ashwini Chopra in Sangam Vihar located in South Delhi. Chopra has been indisposed for several weeks. But is now on fast recovery module after successful medication in United States of America.
It may be recalled that Ashwini Chopra was elected to 16th Loksabha from Karnal parliamentary seat in Haryana during the 2014 elections as BJP MP. Ashwini obtained Master’s degree in journalism from Punjab University. He is a famous cricketer, journalist & politician.
Ashwini Chopra’s spouse Kiran Chopra is Chairperson of “Varishth Nagrik Kesari Club” serving senior citizens in Delhi & NCR. She organizes many social welfare programs for the senior citizens in our society. Three sons of Chopra couple namely Aditya, Akash & Arjun are bright hindi journalistic stars in Republic of India.
Eminent South Delhi social workers assembled in large numbers at the Sangam Vihar BJP office of Ex-MLA Vijay Jolly. They all participated in collective “prayers & hawan” organized for the good health & well being of ailing BJP MP Mr. Chopra. Amid chanting of Sanskrit Shloka’s & Mantra Uucharn – 101 Mangal- Aahuties were offered by BJP Leader Vijay Jolly in the Hawan for the longevity of eminent journalist Ashwini Chopra.
Prominent among those present were BJP National Executive Member Ms. Arti Mehra, Ex-Delhi Mayor Ravinder Gupta, Honorary Consul of Romania Vijay Mehta, Mehrauli District President Azad Singh, BJP South Delhi President Rohtas Kumar, Madangir Mandal President Subhash Nagar, Sandeep Shukhla Spokesman BJYM Delhi, Delhi Study Group Media Convenor Smt. Satindra Kumari, Kamlesh Yadav, Dheeraj Kangar, Pt. Chandra P. Sharma, Brijpal Upadhyay, Meera Pahadia, Suman Dubey along with local RWA’s office bearers participated in large numbers at the Hawan & Prarthana program in Sangam Vihar.
