New Delhi: The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the King and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the eve of their National Day (September 23, 2015).
In his message to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and to the friendly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of your National Day.
India deeply values its close and friendly relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are anchored in shared interests and extensive people-to-people contacts. Our multi-faceted strategic ties have witnessed steady progress in all spheres of our bilateral engagement. This mutually beneficial relationship has been further reinforced by regular high-level political exchanges and our growing trade linkages. I remain confident that our cooperation will continue to further strengthen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two peoples.
I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for the good health and happiness of your Majesty, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
