Dr. Kailash Katkar, MD & CEO, Quick Heal Technologies, and Shri Rahul Shreerame – Deputy Commissioner from Pune Police distributed 700 raincoats at a ceremony held at Commissioner’s Office
PUNE: As the monsoon season sets in, Quick Heal Technologies Limited has collaborated with Pune Police to help Police Personnel stay safe. Quick Heal has distributed 700 raincoats to assist the Pune police department at a ceremony held at the Commissioner’s Office in Pune as part of the initiative. The distribution ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Kailash Katkar, MD & CEO, Quick Heal Technologies Limited, and Shri Rahul Shreerame – Deputy Commissioner, Traffic Branch from Pune Police.
The duty of a police officer is such that going out even in a downpour is irrefutable. However, Quick Heal aims to help the Pune police department so that the brave, diligent, and highly hard-working police personnel can protect themselves from monsoon blues. The raincoats are made from 100% pure polyester fabric and are fully sealed, waterproof, and moisture resistant for complete protection from rains. Shri AjitLakade – Police Inspector, and Mrs. Varsha Paul Anthony – Traffic Branch, also supported Quick Heal in these efforts.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Kailash Katkar, MD & CEO, Quick Heal Technologies Limited, said, “We are incredibly grateful for the services offered by our esteemed Pune police department. Irrespective of the weather, the police department is 24 hours available to assist our needs and resolve the complaints. These raincoats are a small token of gratitude from our side to thank the department’s unconditional support and assistance for tons of legal and social issues.”
Accepting the raincoats on behalf of police personnel, Shri Rahul Shreerame – Deputy Commissioner, Traffic Branch from the Pune police department said, “Such gestures are highly encouraging and comforting for everyone. We feel wholeheartedly proud to have the opportunity to serve the country, and no police officer wearing this uniform expects anything in return. Having said that, when fellow citizens understand that we are also normal human beings and not some superhero, and offer us just a glass of water, let alone 700 raincoats, it makes us feel appreciated and happy.”
