The first college allotment list has been released for BSTC 2016 on June 24. Rajasthan MDSU BSTC college allotment 2016 has been published on www.bstcmdsu2016.com for the aspirants who registered for counselling.
BSTC allotment of colleges for all aspirants was initially scheduled to be released on 23 June, at 6 pm, however, the University had delayed it by one day. It was expected that college allotment results will be published online by evening of 24 June. But surprisingly, MDSU released the allotment in the morning itself, opening way for admission process to commence.
Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer is regulating the admission to BSTC this year via a centralised allotment process online.
All of the aspirants were allowed to register for counselling and fill-in their choices for college preference. The colleges will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of preferences set by themselves, taking their merit and category into consideration. The allocation of seat in any college/university is also subjected to the availability of seats.
Initially, the deadline to register for counselling was set as on June 20, but was extended by one day at last moment’s notice. The date for option entry was also rescheduled to June 22.
Reportedly, 4,78,818 had appeared to take the written test of BSTC which was held on May 8 at 1,482 places across the state of Rajasthan. The results of test were announced on 2nd June and the counselling had commenced from June 6.
Candidates also must take notice that BSTC college allotment has been released separately for General, Sanskrit and Alp Bhasha. Candidates have to select their subject and then check the college allotment by entering roll number, counselling serial no. and date of birth detail.
BSTC general college list, Sanskrit college list and Alp Bhasha college list had already been uploaded online by MDSU. The seat matrix for general candidate is currently displaying more than 14,000 seats in 244 colleges in Rajasthan. For Sanskrit, currently 16 colleges will take admission to 1270 seats and for Alp Bhasha, 4 colleges have intake of 200 seats.
MDSU will not dispatch any allotment letter to candidates and it has to be downloaded from official portal only. The generated print out will be considered valid for documentation in admission process. Candidates can download their allotment letter and can also re-print college choice if needed. Now that college allotment has been released, aspirants need to follow the schedule notified by University, given here.
24 June– BSTC 2016 college allotment has been declared on www.bstcmdsu2016.com.
24 June to 1 July– candidates have to deposit the remaining amount of fee in bank for admission.
24 June to 2 July– reporting at allotted colleges and completing the admission formalities.
4 July to 5 July– registration for upward movement option.
6 July (5 pm)– publication of college allotment after upward movement registrations.
7 July to 9 July– reporting at allotted colleges after upward movement allotment declaration.
If the aspirants wish to get admission in the allotted college, they need to complete the admission procedure within specified dates and if they opt for other options, can register for subsequent round of allotment scheduled for release in July.
