On the success of Anushka’s recently released film NH10, the actress spoke to media. In conversation over her films and having no release last year(2014) she revealed why has she done only eight films in the span of seven years in Bollywood.
“I don’t do films just for a sake of it. You treat every differently. The reason why I did just 8 films is because I only wanted to do the best work that came my way.I just want people to think that every time they come and watch an Anushka Sharma film , that this is going to be a good film because she is in the film. I want to create that for myself. I want to be that kind of dependability of audience on me that’s what I would like. As an actor people should know me for the films that I do”, says the actress.
She further added, “I dint have any release for 2 years and then PK came. And now I have many this year. It is just that I want to do different things, unique things. I don’t want to do same thing again and again. I like to set new trends. I only do what I think is right for me something that matches my thinking.”
Anushka Sharma will be next seen in multi starrer Dil Dhadakne Do and Bombay Velvet opposite Ranbir Kapoor, where she will be seen playing a Jazz singer.
