“I thoroughly enjoyed my time here today. It was great interacting with the students who are all eager to learn, even the ones at a tender age!” These were the words of Javed Sayyed after finishing the Film direction and editing workshop held at Ronkel Media Institute in Andheri. A coveted name in the film industry, Javed Sayyed has a whopping 46 years of experience and has been the editor of many acclaimed films such as Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Pehla Nasha, Naseem, Yes Boss, Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani, Kya Kehna and has directed TV serials such as Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Heena among many others. When asked about his views on the institute he said, “I am really happy to see the hard work Ronkel Media Education & Research Institute is putting in to help the students in honing their skills. At this pace, they will become the most reputed institute in the next few years.”
Ronkel Institute offers many structured and planned courses to students interested in entering the creative field. It’s quite natural that the diversity of the institute attracts many young and budding artists and technicians. The students who took admission this year already feel that they took the best decision of their life. Kashish, who joined the acting course this year, had this to say, “Words cannot begin to describe how much I love studying here. The institute’s wonderful teachers have helped me find many of my strengths which I didn’t even know I had! I keep learning something new every time I come here and today’s workshop was no different. It’s as if I have completely re-discovered myself, all thanks to Ronkel Institute”.
Indeed, that is the style that this institute follows. Their teaching method is what puts them in a league of their own. The faculty has individuals from all different creative aspects with hands on experience in the industry. They bring that valuable knowledge to the students and teach them to perfect their technical abilities that are required. Ronkel Institute has not only helped students to learn new abilities. In situations where a student feels left out or confused, the teachers put in all efforts to help him get out of his slumber and to release the artist inside him. It is this genuine concern for the students that separates Ronkel Institute from many others who are just looking to expand their “business”. Another student Abhishek Behera had nothing but praises for his college, “I joined the film making course recently, and I have to say the course structure is challenging but intriguing too. That’s what I love about Ronkel Institute, they put you to the test and you have to be consistent in your work. What’s amazing is, my teachers create a real industry environment for my projects and that is shaping me up to be a true professional.”
Sanjeev Sharma, director of the institute, “I personally see to it that all my students feel comfortable during the class and I make sure that they understand everything. I don’t even mind sitting with a student personally if that’s what it takes to help them. I am very passionate about my work; hence it makes me happy to have young and passionate kids as a part of Ronkel Institute.”
