The event witnessed cinematic maestroslike Imtiaz Ali, NiranjanIyenger, Neena Kulkarni, Manish Rahatkar and Shweta Basu Prasadwho came together to narrate their stories of perfection. Threeperfect shorts including ‘The Other Way’ by Imtiaz Ali; ‘Maa’ by NiranjanIyenger, starring Neena Kulkarni, Dino Morea and Vivaan Shah and ‘Visa’ by Manish Rahatkar, starring Shweta Basu Prasad were screened at the event as these story tellers shared their motivation behind creating these films.

· ‘The Other Way’ by Imtiaz Ali is a short film about a bride with doubts, anxiety and a deep- seated fear and a photographer who too is consumed with insecurities about career choices. She meets the photographer on the eve of her wedding, an instant connect leads to an impulsive decision to run away on the day of her marriage and brings them to shared isolation where they confront their fears and find their answers. The story is told in a reverse chronological order of incidents that took place from where they ended up going back to the first time they met, making it a unique short. It is a story about 2 strangers narrated in a unique way.
· ‘Maa’ by NiranjanIyenger, starring Neena Kulkarni, Dino Morea and Vivaan Shah is a short film which showcases the story of a mother and her son who is a drug addict. The mother and elder brother continue to contemplate on how to deal with the younger son’s affliction. As the story progresses, the mother decides to go for an unorthodox treatment to get her son rid of the addiction. The mother’s choice is cruel and kind at the same time but she is not sure if she will be able to bear the consequences of it.
· ‘Visa’ by Manish Rahatkar, starring Shweta Basu, Ishaan Khaana and DelissaMehra is a story of a young family who are desperate to find a way to leave their country and move to another place as the conditions keep worsening day by day. As the visa interview dates come closer the parents are even more determined as they are concerned about their daughter’s future and wish to give her a better life.
