New Delhi, August 24, 2018: Committed towards providing world class experience to its customers, Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, today inaugurated the first of its kind retail experience zone, ‘Xperience Point’ in Gurugram. The Xperience Point will host Schneider Electric’s entire suite of products that redefine homes and living spaces. These include a wide range of customisable switches with variety of colour plates, distribution board covers, protection devices as well as products that are digitised and connected to ensure sustainability and efficiency, while adding to the style and comfort quotient of a home.
With an interactive product display and fully automated experience, Xperience Point will also help in training the electricians, architects and channel partners who are engaged in installation and maintenance of these products. The two retail product verticals by Schneider Electric include Protection equipment (such as MCBs, RCCBs and distribution boards) and wiring devices (switches and sockets) for residential, commercial, industrial segments.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Xperience Point, Manish Pant, Executive Vice-President, Schneider Electric said, “India is an extremely attractive market for us at Schneider Electric. We see an interesting trend here, while there is a growth in the real estate market, there is also increasing consciousness amongst the home owners for safety, efficiency and connectivity along with stylish and attractive indoors.” He added, “The retail industry is definitely riding high on this growth and we feel there is great opportunity for us here, right now, and in the future. Our products are well equipped to meet the current needs of the market and we are hopeful that with the launch of the Xperience point, we will be able to bring to our customers what they are seeking.”
The experience zone touches four key aspects of the lifestyle and décor requirements of the home owners of today. These include, meeting safety standards, ability to customise plain switches and distribution boards into attractive displays, other aesthetics like connected lighting and overall luxury and style. Xperience Point has been launched in association with Schneider Electric’s partner of 24 years, Electrical Control Systems. Sharing his enthusiasm at the inauguration of the center, Mr. Harish Hasija, CEO, Electrical Control Systems said, “What we have created here today is a complete platform where customers and the extended ecosystem can experience great electrical housing products and solutions. It has been a great experience partnering with Schneider Electric and reaching this professional juncture. While this is a first in India, we look forward to great partnership in the coming years as well.”
