PUNE:, was indeed a special day for Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF). LPF completed 25 years and celebrated its Silver Jubilee by signing an MoU with one of its valued partners, Seco Tools India Pvt. Ltd. With 4 years of partnership, Seco Tools has taken their commitment to the next level. It will be supporting 70 girls studying in 11th and 12 std. in Science stream from our School Project – ‘2Morrow 2Gether’, through scholarships, skill-building programs, career counseling, and Seoc Tools Employee Volunteering programs.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Norbert König, Vice President of the Asia Pacific at Seco Tools and MD -Seco Tools India, and Mrs. Lila Poonawalla, Chairperson, LPF, in the presence of Mr. Firoz Poonawalla, Founder Trustee, and Ms. Priti Khare, CEO, LPF. “This is the 1st time, that we have a partner, who will be supporting our Junior College girls. My sincere gratitude to the Seco Tools. I believe that this is really the apt time to develop their character and create aspirations, so they not only stay on the right track, morally and ethically but also focus on pursuing graduation and post-graduation.” said Mrs. Lila Poonawalla.
“There could not have been a more appropriate moment for us, to support girls from the Junior College of the School Project. The girls we will be supporting are at an impressionable age and education and mentorship will play a key role in their lives. The girls we will be supporting, will be in sync with Seco Tools’ vision of diversity, gender equality, and inclusivity and we are thrilled to have partnered with Lila Poonawalla Foundation for this initiative.”, concluded Mr. Norbert König.
In addition to this project, Seco Tools is also supporting the Undergraduate Scholarship and Skills Building project for the girls pursuing an Engineering degree from Pune.
