Read the Rules before Starting the Game
Player’s Major Objective
Spider Solitaire is a well-known solitaire game where your objective is to arrange all the cards in descending order from King down to Ace in the same suit. Once your run has been completed, for example, King of clubs down to Ace of clubs, then there is the option to remove the whole run from the table. You are a winner, once the table is completely empty.
The Game Setup
You can play free Spider Solitaire with two full decks, 104 cards. At the starting 54 of the cards are shared between 10 tableaus, the first 4 tableaus will have 6 cards each, and the other 6 tableaus will be given 5 cards each. The top card of each tableau will be turned face up, and the others will be placed face down. The remaining 50 cards will be placed in a stock at the top of your screen.
Your Valid Moves
You can always move a card onto a card, which one is higher in rank. For example, you can move a 7 of clubs and put it on an 8 of clubs, diamonds or spades or an 8 of hearts. Anyways, you can move your cards onto other cards in some different suit, the purpose of the game is to create runs in the same suit, so you will be able to remove the run from the table if it’s all in the same suit. A full run in different suits isn’t going to do anything for you. (Although it might be valuable to move cards onto other suits, so you might make them out of the way). You will also be given to moving multiple cards together if you are able to make them part of a run in the same suit. For example, if you have 8 of clubs, 7 of clubs, 6 of clubs, then you are in a position to click the 8 and move them all together onto a 9 of any other suit. In case, you have 8 of clubs, 7 of hearts, 6 of diamonds, then you don’t have the right to move them all together, only the top card. If you find any table vacant, then you are allowed to move any card or partial run to move onto it.
How to Add cards from the stock
If you find, you’ve used all of your moves in the tableaus then you can click on the stock that’s available in the upper left corner. It would move 10 cards from the stock onto the tableaus, placing one card onto each tableau. Possibly avoid doing this until you are sure you have no other moves in your stock to make. It is recommended that there is at least one card in each tableau when you click the stock. If there is an empty tableau on your table you will have to first move one or more cards onto it before you can click on that stock.
Scoring the Points
At the start, you will be given 500 points, and for each of your moves, one of your points will get subtracted. For each run you’ve removed from the table you’ll be able to get 100 extra points. For example, if you’ve managed three full runs in 70 moves you’ll get 500-70+3*100 = 730 points.
Game Levels, You Can Choose to Play
In this game https://spidersolitairepro.com, there are three different modes, beginner, intermediate and advanced. In the mode you will find only one suit (spades), in the intermediate mode, you will be given two (spades and hearts) and at the advanced level, there are all four suits. In all the game levels, there is the same number of cards, 104.
