Mukta Charitable Foundation in Association with Rotary Ghatkopar, Mumbai has conducted Addiction Medicine Seminar at Hotel Ambassador, Model Colony on 18th and 19th January from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doctors, Addiction Counselors, Psychologists, Therapist, Medical Students can attend the seminar, said Dr. Prakash Mahajan in a press conference. Dr. Rupa Agarwal and Ashwini Shinde of Mukta Charitable Trust were also present at the press conference.
In a two-day seminar following topics will be covered.
Day one – Is addiction a disease?, Alcohol Addiction,Tobacco addiction, Hard drugs, Internet addiction.
Day Two – Psychiatric comorbidities in addiction, Counseling of an addict, Family counseling and relapse prevention, Skills in changing human behaviour & Quiz on Seminar.
Mahesh Zagade, former PMC Commissioner will be present at the Closing Ceremony as a special guest.
16th January is the last day for submitting entry form.
