A little physical activity goes a long way in maintaining a healthy life. Seniority, India’s largest shopping destination for senior citizens has launched #AskTheExpert series to help them pursue their favorite hobbies and address their medical related queries through workshops and health talks with experts in the field.
Seniority will kickstart this series with a gardening workshop to encourage and inculcate the passion for gardening in the daily lives of senior citizens. This session also aims to serve as a form of therapy by alleviating stress and promoting an enjoyable form of exercise. The workshop will be held on Saturday, 13th July, 2019 at Seniority Experience Zone, Pune from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and is open to both beginners and experienced gardeners at no extra cost.
Mr. Nilesh Rokade, M.Sc. Biodiversity, gardening expert and owner of NPlants Nursery & Landscape Services will lead the workshop and educate attendees on various subjects related to gardening, ranging from medicinal and monsoon plants, to setting up a terrace garden or organic kitchen garden with tips to maintain the same. For those unable to attend the workshop, fret not. Mr. Rokade will be available for a WhatsApp live chat ahead of the workshop, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm where he will respond to any gardening related queries from customers.
