Pune: After bringing smiles to thousands of children across the country, Sesame Street Preschool- leading preschool chain in India will celebrated a fun-filled weekend with energetic children and their families. Sesame Street Preschool in Pimple Saudagar made a set up set up of “Grover’s Café”at two premises, at Park Royale, Rahatani Road, Pimple Saudagar and at Royal Emperio, Rahatani Road, Pimple Saudagar.
The Grover’s Health Café is a showcase of one of the unique ways children are taught at Sesame Street Preschool. This is a regular activity where kids are encouraged not just to eat healthy food but also taught about basic table etiquettes and hygiene, making healthy choices, sharing food, eating postures, etc. A restaurant style set up was arranged in the school and educators dressed as chefs welcome kids to the restaurant. The food comprising of healthy, delicious dishes were offered to kids as part of the menu.
Mona Singh, Vice President, Sesame Schoolhouse said, “Going by our group’s mission – to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder we are dedicated to encouraging healthy habits among children through various awareness activities organized by the educators. The Grover’s Café was reflection of the kind of healthy eating habits that we encourage at our school. We are looking forward to welcoming kids on the weekend and expose them to the world of healthy habits.”
