State College, PA/ Buffalo, NY: Shaner Hotel Group, one of the hospitality industrys leading owner-operators of full- and select-service hotels, today announced that its Chairman and CEO, President and other company executives will participate in formal ribbon-cutting ceremonies today for the New Buffalo Marriott HARBORCENTER hotel in downtown Buffalos Canalside district.
The full-service hotel will feature 205-rooms, nearly 6,000 square-feet of meeting and event space, a Marriott Great Room and full-service Panorama on Seven restaurant and bar located in the scenic seventh-floor lobby, and Marriott Internationals newest interior design features. The guest rooms include ten King Corner suites and a 5,000 square-foot Presidential Suite on the 19th floor, as well as an M Club Lounge for Marriott Reward customers.

The Buffalo Marriott HARBORCENTER hotel is the centerpiece of a 650,000 square-foot sports and entertainment complex that includes two NHL-size hockey rinks with state-of-the-art amenities; a high-performance off-ice training facility; an upscale 13,000 square-foot sports bar and restaurant; a one-of-a-kind Tim Hortons Caf and Bakeshop; and boutique retail shops and a parking structure. The opening of the hotel is just another example of the significant economic development projects totaling nearly $5 billion in investments in western New York.
