During the program Nitin Gadkari announced an aid of Rs.116 Crore for the construction of flyover from Katraj Chowk to Wadgoan. A flyover is needed at Katraj chowk for which Nitin Gadkari assured Rs. 135 Crore for construction of 1340m of flyover under National Highway Authoirty of India. He also stated that special provision of road will be made for direct connectivity to Shivasrushti.
While speaking to Media after the program Babasaheb Purandare thanked Devendra Phadnavis and Nitin Gadkari for this financial help. He also said that many personalities have extended support to this project including the likes of Balasaheb Thackeray and Former CM of the State Vasantdada Patil. He also stated that the current land parcel of 21 acres given for the development of Shivasrushti is insufficient to create Shivasrushti of his dreams citing an example of Disneyland which is spread across more than 500 acres of land. However, he assured that he along with his team is trying to make the best use of the available space with the use of new technologies. Lastly, while answering the query from media he said that projects like Shivasrushti and Shivasmarak are most welcome but equal importance need to be given to the conservation of forts in the state.
Coming up at Amebgaon Budruk in Pune the Shivasrushti will try to give through understanding of the glorious era of Shivaji Maharaj to people at large. Its sheer grandeur will enthral people and history buffs will be fascinated by exact depiction of medieval times.
