In early September, Chef Christian Constant, the owner of Les Cocottes, the famous bistro in the seventh arrondissement of Paris, opened his brand new restaurant in the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe on the Right Bank.

Authentic cuisine, the chef’s trademark…

Whether at the table or the counter, all the dishes at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe are served in famous Staub cast-iron “cocotte” pots.

But a winning presentation isn’t the only key to the restaurant’s success: the ingredients and cooking methods are just as innovative. The outcome of this beautiful combination is always-fresh food and the discovery, or rediscovery, of new flavours.

How can they not be won over by this new take on traditional French dishes? For example, the famous pot of caramelised potatoes stuffed with pig’s feet and the luscious chocolate tart whisk them off to southwest France!

…in a warm, open venue

The experience isn’t limited to the food; it’s also expressed in the atmosphere of this place. The new chef at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe is imposing his own vision of the culinary arts.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working at great restaurants over the course of my career,” says Mr. Constant. “New culinary trends have emerged in the past few years. I’m delighted that with this project, France’s most beautiful hotel company is innovating and bringing those new trends to hotel cuisine, making the restaurant a lively spot at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe.”

Guests and neighbours will find a completely redesigned area. The spacious, light-drenched restaurant boasts big tables with armchairs upholstered in tan leather and comfortable bench seats. The natural colours match the wooden parquet floor, creating a simple, authentic mood. Last but not least, tables are set up on the outdoor terrace as soon as the weather starts turning nice! A must-see!
