New Delhi: Aiming to reinforce the notion that music is not restricted to borders, Indian Sufi Qawwali group Nizami Brothers and Pakistani singers Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad recently enthralled the audience with their performances in the national capital.
In an interview, Ghulam Sabir Nizami from Nizami Brothers said that the artists from both Pakistan and India will collaborate in the upcoming International Qawwali Festival 2016 ‘Taali Ho,’. Meanwhile, Pakistani Qawwal Fareed said he believed that such kind of Qawwali platforms should be encouraged as they will help to bridge the gap between audience and artistes.
Nizami Brothers and Pakistani singers had performed at the curtain raiser event of the International Qawwali Festival 2016 ‘Taali Ho’, which will kick-start from 12th Feb and will conclude on14th Feb 2016.
