PUNE: Classical music lovers from Pune will get an opportunity to attend a musical program called ‘Swaranubhuti’’, by renowned Indian classical vocalist, Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande on Sunday, February 23, 2020. Organized by Rithwik Foundation, the program will be held at Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts, behind Ved Bhavan, Kothrud at 9:00 AM. The entry to the program will be free of cost.
Considering that all artists and budding artists should get a platform to perform and also get guidance from the musical maestros, various musical programs are organized throughout the year by Rithwik Foundation for Performing Arts. As a part of such a scheme, a senior musician of the month from any musical gharana gets a chance to perform on the last Sunday of every month, in the ‘Swaranubhuti’’ program.
The initiative, which started in the month of January, began with a musical program by Pt. Jayatirtha Mewundi. Pravin Kadle, founder of Rithwik Foundation said that the program was organized with the aim of listening to the Raagas of classical music in the morning and also to acknowledge the changing moods of the concerts.
“This time, the audience will have an opportunity to listen to the various Raagas of the morning by Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande of Jaipur-Atrauli gharana, who is the artist of the month. She will be accompanied by Suyog Kundalkar on Harmonium,” said Kadle.
