Symbiosis Centre for International Education under the aegis of the Symbiosis International University hosted SIP for about 15 students from Ritsumeikan University, Japan from August 5, 2016 to September 9, 2016.
The programme offered the students an opportunity to explore and understand India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage combining it with academic module on Software Solution Design, a project based learning approach for developing software application and industrial visits.
The knowledge and understanding of the cultures involved in this programme leaves a lasting impact on an enhanced world view of its participants. Participating students are trained for global leadership, to increase efficiency, respect for other cultures and political and economic systems. The important characteristic of this programme is to provide a platform for students to discuss solutions to problems faced in field of technology by using their knowledge and skills for the development in India and Japan.
