PUNE: Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, one of India’s leading private life insurers, has announced a record bonus of ₹1,833 crore for the financial year 2024–25 (FY25), its highest ever to date. This marks a significant 32% increase over the ₹1,383 crore bonus declared in FY24. The bonus will benefit over 11.71 lakh policyholders who have invested in the Company’s participating (with-profit) products. With this declaration, Bajaj Allianz Life continues its strong legacy of delivering value to customers, having consistently announced annual bonuses for 24 consecutive years.

Policyholders with traditional participating policies that are in force as of March 31, 2025, are eligible to receive this bonus, which is declared from the surplus generated under the participating fund. Bajaj Allianz Life offers a diverse range of participating products, including, Bajaj Allianz Life Ace (A Non linked, Participating, Individual Life Insurance Savings Plan), Bajaj Allianz Life Ace Advantage (A Non Linked, Participating, Life Insurance Savings Plan) , and Bajaj Allianz Life Elite Assure (A Non-Linked Participating Individual Life Insurance Savings Plan) designed to provide customers with enhanced flexibility to meet their varied life goals. Policyholders of these plans stand to benefit from the bonus declared, amongst others.

Additionally, the Company has announced a special reversionary bonus of 5% for policyholders of higher equity allocation products, Bajaj Allianz Life ACE – Wealth Option and Bajaj Allianz Life Flexi Income Goal – Enhanced Benefit (A Non-Linked, Participating, Guaranteed Income Life Insurance Plan), amounting to ₹206 crores.

Bonuses declared in each financial year are distributed at the time of policy maturity or exit. In addition, cash bonuses will be disbursed on policy anniversary, or as outlined in the respective policy terms.

This is for the over 11.66 lakh policyholders who have invested in the Company’s participating products. This is the Company’s highest bonus declaration ever at Rs. 1,383 crores for FY2024.

Policyholders with traditional participating (with-profit) policies are eligible to receive this bonus, which is declared from the surplus generated under the participating (with-profits) funds. All participating policies in force as of March 31, 2024, are eligible to receive this bonus. Policyholders of participating products like Bajaj Allianz Life Flexi Income Goal, Bajaj Allianz Elite Assure, and Bajaj Allianz Life Ace, amongst others, stand to benefit from the bonus declared. The FY2024 bonus marks a 15% increase over the FY2023 bonus, which stood at Rs. 1,201 crores.

Bonuses declared in each financial year are accumulated and distributed upon policy maturity or exit. Additionally, cash bonuses will be paid out on specific policy events in accordance with policy conditions.
