INDIA: MediBuddy, India’s largest digital healthcare company, today announced the launch of its latest campaign, #ReclaimYourHealth, to mark World Health Day. This innovative initiative uses humor and relatable content to highlight the stark contrast between the healthy habits of the past and today’s sedentary, technology-driven lifestyle.

Modern lifestyles often leave our bodies struggling—sedentary habits, poor diets, and limited fresh air have replaced the active and wholesome ways of the past. Through witty dialogue and visually striking contrasts, the campaign delivers a powerful yet simple message: reclaiming your health doesn’t require drastic measures, just a return to the basics.

#ReclaimYourHealth presents an entertaining yet educational video series featuring personified organs sharing their experiences in contemporary language. With scenarios such as a heart doing a TikTok dance versus slumped in a chair and lungs taking deep breaths in nature versus constricted by phone screen glow, the campaign highlights vital but often overlooked aspects of everyday health.

Health isn’t just a personal issue; it’s a family issue that impacts communities and ultimately affects society at large. While modern conveniences have improved many aspects of life, the campaign encourages viewers to reconsider the health trade-offs we have unconsciously accepted.

Speaking about the campaign, Saibal Biswas, SVP and Head of Marketing, PR and Partnerships, MediBuddy, said, “Reclaiming your health doesn’t require complex interventions—just simple choices like moving more, eating better, and breathing fresh air. Knowledge is power, and every mindful, conscious decision brings us closer to a healthier life. This World Health Day, let’s go beyond awareness. Let’s shift our focus from temporary fixes to lasting, meaningful change. Let’s reclaim our health.”

The campaign emphasizes that reclaiming health doesn’t require complex interventions—just returning to basics like moving more, eating better, and breathing fresh air.

This campaign was conceptualized and produced by MediBuddy’s in-house creative team. The campaign video, titled #ReclaimYourHealth, is 1 minute 14 seconds in duration. The video will be amplified across all social media platforms.

Dieting refers to restricting yourself to a small amount of food or following a special diet. It is the practice of eating food in a regulated way to decrease, increase prevent, or treat diseases. There are various myths behind this.

Myth: carbohydrates are the main culprit for weight gain. If one can stop taking carbohydrates in their diet can reduce weight easily

Fact: the fact behind carbohydrates is there is a variety of carbohydrates available. Not all carbs are bad for health. Complex carbohydrates such as millet, brown rice, red rice, wheat, and broken wheat are good for your health and help to reduce weight. The bran present in whole grain gives satiety and makes you full for a long time. Restricting carbohydrates completely is not safe for anyone. Everyone needs carbohydrates, in the menu planning, we should distribute the carbohydrates, protein, and fat in a balanced way.

Myth: If the label says “no-fat” or “low-fat,” you can eat all you want and not gain weight

FACT: These low-fat or no-fat foods have added sugar, starch, or salt to make up for the fat reduction and improve in taste. These foods often have higher calories than the regular version.

We should practice reading the nutrition label to see how many calories are present in a serving and calories present in it, as well as the ingredients present in it.

MYTH: Skipping breakfast helps to reduce weight

FACT: Eating a healthy breakfast can help to manage hunger and restrict eating unhealthy snacks or binge eating.

MYTH: Fasting can help you lose weight quickly. Intermittent fasting has become a trend to reduce weight faster.

FACT: Fasting is unhealthy. Those who fast will feel hungry throughout the day and end with a large supper that replaces all of the calories they skipped earlier. Fasting causes more muscle loss than fat loss.

Plan the daily diet properly in a balanced way, reduce empty calories as much as possible, reducing refined grains and sugary drinks help to reduce weight. Instead of cutting meals entirely, it’s always better to follow a proper diet with the help of dietitian advice
