The company has recorded a 200% growth in revenue and customer base across its operational regions and aims to bolster its presence in the Indian market with a strong talent pool

PUNE: nRoad, a pivotal player in AI-driven unstructured content processing, is enhancing its foothold in the Indian market via a strategic expansion of its Pune office and other locations across India. The objective is to fortify service delivery capabilities, with a plan to recruit a substantial workforce and continue to cultivate an expanding client base, both domestically and internationally, within the next year.

nRoad’s solutions have found remarkable success, and the company has recorded a 200% growth in revenue and customer base across the Middle East, APAC, and the US in the past year. As a self-funded enterprise, nRoad aims to make substantial investments in the Indian market.

nRoad also plans to augment its workforce by recruiting over 50 individuals, mostly AI engineers, this year. It is set to expand across the Middle East, Singapore, and Australia, with a specific focus on the burgeoning Indian market. Bullish about 2024, nRoad foresees a substantial growth rate of 500%.

Speaking about this, Aashish Mehta, Chief Executive Officer, of nRoad, said, “As we reflect on the impact of our advanced solutions, empowering numerous US enterprises to glean valuable insights from unstructured data, it is clear that amidst India’s rapid digital transformation, our solutions play a pivotal role in optimizing outcomes. There is incredible potential in the Indian markets and the data being generated by consumers and businesses can be of great value to enterprises operating in India as well as those aiming to be a part of the Indian growth story. The expansion of our Pune office is designed to establish robust local partnerships and make a meaningful contribution to the global tech ecosystem.”

Adding further, Hrishikesh Rajpathak, CTO, of nRoad, said, “The overarching goal is to unravel unstructured enterprise data, generate actionable insights, and envision a future where the collaborative synergy of individuals and AI drives unparalleled success for enterprises.”

Leading the Pune operations, visionaries with extensive experience, including Prabhod Sunkara, COO, Jeet Desai, Chief Architect, and Sidharth Singla, are integral to nRoad’s mission of transcending traditional boundaries, understanding unstructured data, and converting it into actionable insights.

The current business landscape is characterized by a surge in multi-channel operations and a continuous influx of global data streams, posing challenges for companies in handling and effectively utilizing generated data. Despite significant investments in data generation, a staggering 80% of data remains unstructured, providing minimal value to enterprises.

Conventional data analytics solutions, such as NLP-based approaches, struggle with content diversity, language intricacies, and regional nuances. nRoad stands out with its groundbreaking AI-powered solutions, capable of contextualizing data, organizing it into domain-specific themes, and identifying insightful interrelations for financial enterprises worldwide.

With a focus on decoding dark data and democratizing knowledge that has posed challenges for corporations globally, nRoad is dedicated to advancing digital transformation goals and consolidating its position in the flourishing Indian market. The company is on a mission to transform the processing and utility of unstructured content.

Opportunities to Work on Cutting-Edge Technologies like AI, ML, IoT & Deep Learning

Young engineers will work on new-age technologies at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, Samsung R&D Institute Noida, Samsung R&D Institute Delhi, and Samsung Semiconductor India Research in Bengaluru.

GURUGRAM: Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, is planning to hire around 1,000 engineers for its R&D institutes across India that include Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, Samsung R&D Institute Noida, Samsung R&D Institute Delhi and Samsung Semiconductor India Research in Bengaluru.

These young engineers will join in 2023 and will work on new-age technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep learning, Image Processing, IoT, Connectivity, Cloud, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analysis, Communication Networks, System on a Chip (SoC) and Storage Solutions.

Samsung will recruit engineers from multiple streams such as Computer Science and allied branches (AI/ML/Computer Vision/VLSI etc.), Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, and Communication Networks. In addition, it will also be hiring from streams such as Mathematics & Computing, and Software Engineering.

“Strengthening their focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology, Samsung’s R&D centers aim to hire new talent from India’s top engineering institutes who will work on breakthrough innovations, technologies, products, and designs, including India-centric innovations, that enrich people’s lives. This will further our vision of Powering Digital India,” said Sameer Wadhawan, Head, of Human Resources, Samsung India.

This hiring season, Samsung R&D centers will hire around 200 engineers from top IITs such as IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, and IIT BHU, among others. They have also offered over 400 Pre Placement Offers (PPOs) to students at the IITs and other top institutions.

Samsung research centers in India have filed over 7,500 patents in areas such as multi-camera solutions, televisions, digital applications, 5G, 6G, and ultra-wideband wireless communications protocol. Many of these patents have been commercialized in Samsung flagship Galaxy smartphones, smartwatches, network equipment, and digital applications, among others.

Over the years, Samsung R&D centers in India have built a strong culture of patent filing. At Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, for instance, a significant number of patent filers are first-time inventors in emerging domains such as 5G, AI, ML, IoT, and camera & vision technologies. With this, the R&D center has emerged as the number one patent filer in India for inventions made in India and first filed in India and also won the National IP Award 2021 & 2022.
