<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PUNE: </strong>Santoor Shower Gels, part of the Santoor portfolio from Wipro Consumer Care &amp; Lighting, has announced <strong>actor Sreeleela</strong> as its new brand ambassador, along with a new TVC campaign titled<em> ‘Sandalwood Ka Remix’.</em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With this range, Santoor Shower Gels brings its signature sandalwood ingredient into a liquid body wash format aligned with modern bathing routines. Infused with sandalwood and gardenia extracts, the range focuses on skin softness and glow. The formulation features a gentle, pH‑balanced profile intended for regular use.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">To reinforce this, the brand has introduced the&nbsp;<em>‘Sandalwood Ka Remix’</em>&nbsp;campaign, which presents the ingredient in a refreshed, modern context. As part of this,&nbsp;<strong>actor Sreeleela</strong>&nbsp;has been onboarded as the brand’s ambassador, reflecting a blend of tradition and contemporary appeal.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On this campaign, <strong>S. Prasanna Rai, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Wipro Consumer Care &amp; Lighting,</strong> said, “Sandalwood has always been at the core of Santoor’s heritage. With Santoor Shower Gels, we are reimagining this timeless ingredient in formats that are relevant to today’s consumers. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Conceptualised by Bates Bengaluru, the campaign gives a fresh spin to a classic. Much like old songs reimagined for today, it presents sandalwood in a modern body wash format. The campaign will be rolled out across television and digital platforms as part of an integrated outreach strategy.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Santoor Shower Gel range is available in multiple variants, including Saffron &amp; Marigold and Lemon &amp; Frangipani, priced at ₹ 135 for 250ml across retail stores and online platforms.</p>

Co-created with long-time ASICS collaborator, KITH, this shoe builds on the 12th iteration of the GEL-KAYANO<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> franchise. Its mid-2000s appearance preserves heritage influences, carefully reconfigured for comfort in everyday lifestyles. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The shoe’s upper retains the design language from the original GEL-KAYANO<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 12 shoe, which was originally inspired by European Gothic armor. These structural influences are met with supportive metallic-colored synthetic leather overlays reminiscent of performance footwear from 2006. Additionally, the open mesh underlays provide adequate ventilation to keep feet feeling cool.  The tongue also features Japanese Kanji characters that translate to “Kayano”, the surname of the designer behind the original Kayano running shoe, Toshikazu Kayano, who designed for the franchise from 1993-2007.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On the launch of GEL-KAYANO 12.1, <strong>Rajat Khurana, Managing Director, ASICS India &amp; South Asia</strong>, said, <em>“We’ve witnessed remarkable growth in the SportsStyle category in India, driven by a generation that values both performance and style. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The shoe’s midsole features the same cushioning system as the GEL-NIMBUS<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 17 running shoe. This performance-inspired midsole was originally crafted for long-distance training but has been reworked for comfort in everyday lifestyles. The sole’s FluidRide<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> technology consists of both FLYTEFOAM<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> and FF BLAST<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> technologies to create a combination of lightweight and energized cushioning. GEL<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> technology inserts are positioned in the heel and forefoot, creating advanced impact absorption and a soft feel underfoot.</p>
