<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PUNE:</strong> Honda Motorcycle &amp; Scooter India (HMSI) introduced the <strong>all-new CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 DX </strong>in Pune, Maharashtra. The all-new <strong>Honda CB125 Hornet</strong> has been priced at <strong>Rs. 1,12,000 </strong>(special introductory offer) while the <strong>Shine 100 DX</strong> has been priced at <strong>Rs. 75,950,</strong> all prices ex-showroom Pune, Maharashtra.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Targeted at the next-gen riders, the <strong>CB125 Hornet</strong> embodies the spirit to <em>‘Ride Your Rizz’</em> with its sporty styling and thrilling performance, while the <strong>Shine 100 DX</strong> carries forward its legacy with enhanced features and premium styling that stand true to what customers expect – <em>‘Solid Hai’</em>. The customers can book these motorcycles by visiting their nearest Honda authorised dealership.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>Honda CB125 Hornet</strong> features an aggressive <strong>street-style design</strong> and comes in <strong>four striking colours</strong>. They are – Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red. It gets <strong>first-in-segment golden USD front forks</strong>, an <strong>all-LED lighting system</strong>, and <strong>a 4.2-inch TFT display</strong> with Bluetooth-enabled <strong>Honda RoadSync</strong> connectivity for seamless access to navigation, calls &amp; SMS alerts.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Additional features include a <strong>Universal Type-C charging</strong> port and a 240mm petal disc at the front with <strong>single-channel ABS</strong>. Powering the<strong> CB125 Hornet</strong> is a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD2B-compliant engine that churns out <strong>8.2 kW</strong> of power and <strong>11.2 Nm</strong> of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It can sprint from <strong>0 to 60 km/h in just 5.4 seconds</strong>, making it the <strong>fastest motorcycle in its class</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The <strong>Honda Shine 100 DX</strong> carries forward the iconic <strong>‘Shine’</strong> legacy with a refreshed, premium design. It features a newly designed headlamp with <strong>elegant chrome garnishing</strong>, sculpted wide fuel tank, attractive body graphics, and all-black engine &amp; grab rail, accentuated by a chrome muffler cover. It is offered in <strong>four vibrant colours</strong>. They are – Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Equipped to meet the evolving needs of customers, the Shine 100 DX gets a <strong>digital LCD instrument cluster</strong> displaying real-time mileage, distance-to-empty, and service due reminders. At the heart of the new <strong>Shine 100 DX</strong> is a 98.98cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD2B-compliant engine with Honda’s trusted eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) technology that produces <strong>5.43 kW</strong> of power and <strong>8.04 Nm</strong> of peak torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>GURUGRAM: </strong>Honda Motorcycle &amp; Scooter India (HMSI) reported total sales of <strong>5,34,861 units in August 2025</strong>. This includes <strong>4,81,021 units</strong> in domestic sales and <strong>53,840 units</strong> in exports.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">HMSI also registered a<strong> 4% month-on-month </strong>(MOM)<strong> growth</strong>&nbsp;in total sales compared to July 2025.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For the&nbsp;Year-to-Date (YTD) period of FY26(April–August 2025), HMSI recorded&nbsp;<strong>total sales of 24,22,880 units</strong>, comprising&nbsp;<strong>21,73,834</strong> units sold domestically&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>2,49,046</strong> units exported.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>HMSI’s Key Highlights of August 2025:</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Road Safety:</strong> HMSI continued its commitment towards road safety by organizing awareness campaigns across 12 cities nationwide, including Bhiwadi, Prayagraj, Nayagarh, Budaun, Akola, Warangal, Nandurbar, Bangalore, Trichy, Gandhinagar, Jodhpur, and Bhatinda. These campaigns focused on sensitizing youth towards responsible road behavior and safe riding practices.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Further reinforcing its efforts, HMSI also marked the <strong>6th anniversary of its Safety Driving Education Centre (SDEC) in Ranchi</strong>, to celebrate knowledge, awareness, and responsible road habits, and equip individuals with the skills to make mindful choices on the road.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Product: </strong>Following the grand national launch of the <strong>all-new CB125 Hornet &amp; Shine 100 DX</strong>, HMSI has commenced regional launches and mass deliveries of these motorcycles. The regional launches in Ludhiana, Nashik, Noida, Pune, Chennai, Jodhpur, Mysore, Dhanbad, Muzaffarpur, Lucknow, and Jaipur were a huge success in August 2025. Moreover, the company further expanded its <strong>premium footprint</strong> with the inauguration of new <strong>BigWing outlets</strong> in Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Chennai.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Motorsports: </strong>The <strong>MotoGP</strong> was held in Austria and Hungary in the month of August 2025. In addition, IDEMITSU Honda Racing India Riders &#8211; Kavin Quintal and Johann Reeves &#8211; continued momentum in a challenging Round 4 of the 2025 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in Indonesia. Round 2 of the 2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F was also hosted in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COIMBATORE:  </strong>Demonstrating remarkable racing enthusiasm, the young Honda Racing India riders put on an impressive show in Race 1 of the second round of the <strong>2025 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CB300F</strong> in Coimbatore, highlighting their racing skills and high spirit on the track.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Tejash BA&nbsp;</strong>amped up the excitement in Race 1 with a powerful performance, impressive speed, sharp control, and fierce racing spirit.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the 10-lap contest,&nbsp;<strong>Tejash BA</strong>&nbsp;made a strong start from 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;on the grid, quickly taking the lead in the opening lap. Demonstrating consistent pace and control, he held his position at the front throughout the race. Tejash secured first position by crossing the chequered flag in a total time of 14:07.625, with his best timing at 1:23.474.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The fight for second and third place heated up as Raivat Dhar, Amit Prasad, Ann Jennifer, and Swaroop Krishna P battled closely, each rider pushing the limits for a spot on the podium.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With consistent control and following very closely,&nbsp;<strong>Raivat Dhar</strong>&nbsp;secured a strong&nbsp;<strong>second-place</strong>&nbsp;finish, completing the race in 14:08.219. Trailing behind,&nbsp;<strong>Amit Prasad</strong>&nbsp;delivered a focused and determined performance to claim the&nbsp;<strong>third position</strong>&nbsp;with a total race time of 14:14.584.</p>

<li><strong>Road Safety:</strong> Expanding road safety awareness in India, HMSI promoted campaigns in <strong>12 locations</strong> across India– Jamnagar (Gujarat), Satna (Madhya Pradesh), Kota (Rajasthan), Sangamner and Ratnagiri (Maharashtra), Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu), Gokarna (Karnataka), Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh), Bhawanipatna (Odisha), Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), Midnapore (West Bengal) and Gurugram (Haryana).  Additionally, HMSI celebrated the <strong>11<sup>th</sup> anniversary of its Traffic Training Park </strong>(TTP) in Bhubaneswar and the <strong>6<sup>th</sup> Anniversary</strong> of Traffic Training Park in <a>Tiruchirappalli</a>, advancing its efforts towards responsible road habits.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">HMSI also hosted a Summer Camp at Delhi Traffic Training Park with interactive sessions and engagements like safe riding theory, road safety games, and cycling practice, etc. fostering early awareness around responsible road behaviour.</p>

<li><strong>CSR:</strong> HMSI marked Environment Week 2025 with a series of sustainability-focused activities across its nationwide network, beginning on 5th June (World Environment Day). As part of the week-long celebration, HMSI’s dealerships and service outlets across India actively engaged with customers and local communities with key activities including the distribution of saplings to all customers visiting at dealership, awareness campaigns on the harmful impact of plastic pollution, and tree plantation drives across multiple cities and towns.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>Honda India Foundation</strong>&nbsp;celebrated&nbsp;<strong>International Yoga Day</strong>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<strong>Honda Samajik Vikas Kendra&nbsp;</strong>in Naurangpur, Gurgaon (Haryana), promoting health, wellness, and mindfulness among participants. Over 200 participants from nearby villages joined for guided yoga sessions that encouraged harmony between individual well-being and collective health.</p>

In a significant step towards its electric mobility journey, HMSI inaugurated its first-ever <strong>EV Concept Store in India</strong>, located at Mantri Square Mall in Bengaluru. The company also announced a new <strong>BaaS Lite Plan for ACTIVA e,</strong> where customers can pay just Rs 678/month, making EV ownership more accessible than ever before.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adding to the excitement of Race 2, Solomon R put on a powerful display, showcasing impressive speed, precision, and competitive spirit on the track.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the 8-lap race, <strong>Solomon R</strong>, gradually built his pace to gain momentum and take the lead. He maintained a consistent and commanding pace, eventually crossing the chequered flag in <strong>first position</strong> with a total race time of 17:03.481, while also clocking the fastest lap time of 2:05.892.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The contest for second and third place intensified as Deepak Kumar, Alshin Thomas and Swaroop Krishna went head-to-head, each pushing their boundaries in a gripping battle for the podium.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Showing strong control and consistent pace, <strong>Deepak Kumar</strong> secured <strong>second position</strong>, completing the race with a total time of 17:13.576. Right behind him, <strong>Swaroop Krishna P</strong> maintained steady focus to take <strong>third position</strong> on the podium with a total time of 17:24.441.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adding to the thrill of Race 1, the rider Solomon R delivered a fierce performance on the track, setting a benchmark with his speed, control, and racing spirit.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In the 6-lap race, <strong>Solomon R </strong>made a strong start from 2nd on the grid, swiftly taking the lead in the opening lap. Maintaining a commanding pace, he stayed ahead throughout the race. He secured the <strong>first position</strong> by crossing the chequered flag first, completing the race in a total time of 12:50.322, while also clocking the fastest lap time of 2:06.934.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The fight for second and third place heated up as Ann Jenifer, Alshin Thomas, Bharath Balan, and Deepak Kumar battled closely, each rider pushing the limits for a spot on the podium.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Showing great control, <strong>Ann Jenifer</strong> maintained her pace to finish in <strong>second position</strong>, completing the race with a total time of 13:06.226. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>MALAYSIA: </strong>The <strong>IDEMITSU Honda Racing India</strong> riders faced a challenging and intense <strong>Round 2</strong> of the <strong>2025 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship</strong> at the iconic <strong>Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia</strong>, closing out a weekend full of high-speed action and fierce competition.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>The Indian duo, Kavin Quintal and Johann Reeves,</strong> completed today’s race with grit and consistency in the fiercely competitive Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Kavin Quintal</strong>, the 19-year-old rider, started the 8-lap race from the 19th grid position for race 1. He finished at 18th position with a total time of 19:43:239. In Race 2, Kavin mounted a strong comeback and, despite fierce competition, demonstrated resilience and tactical racing skills to hold his ground. He completed the race in <strong>15<sup>th</sup> position</strong> after a tough battle, crossing the finish line with a total time of <strong>19:44.506</strong> and setting his fastest lap at <strong>2:25.412</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile, <strong>Johann Reeves</strong> started from 24<sup>th</sup> on the grid in Round 2 of ARRC. In <strong>Race 1</strong>, Johann delivered a strong performance, maintaining steady lap times and gaining valuable experience on the challenging circuit. He crossed the finish line in <strong>19<sup>th</sup> place</strong> with a total time of <strong>19:44.679. </strong>In <strong>Race 2</strong>, Reeves defended his position well, completing the race at <strong>20<sup>th</sup> </strong>place with a total time of <strong>20:07.715</strong> and recording his fastest lap at <strong>2:29.021</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Kavin</strong> earned <strong>1 point</strong> in round 2 at Malaysia, bringing their cumulative team total to <strong>5 points </strong>for this season in the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sharing his thoughts,<strong> Kavin Quintal </strong>said, <em>“Today’s race at Sepang Circuit was challenging from start to finish. The technical track demanded complete focus and tested every move. It was a tough battle out there. I am taking away important lessons and remain determined to come back stronger in the upcoming races.”</em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Johann Reeves </strong>added,<em> “Today’s race at Sepang Circuit pushed me on every level. The competition was intense, and the track demanding. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The company’s total sales for <strong>May’25</strong> stood at <strong>4,65,115</strong> <strong>units</strong>. This includes <strong>domestic sales of 4,17,256 units</strong> and <strong>47,859 units of exports</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is worth mentioning that <strong>HMSI’s YTD</strong> <strong>FY26 (April 25 – May</strong> 25) total sales stand at 9,45,979 units. This includes domestic sales of 8,40,155 units and 1,05,824 units of <strong>exports</strong>.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>HMSI’s Key Highlights of May 2025:</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Product:</strong> HMSI strengthened its <strong>BigWing portfolio</strong> with the launch of several all-new premium motorcycles. The company introduced the all-new <strong>Rebel 500, X-ADV, CB750 Hornet, CB1000 Hornet SP,</strong> and the flagship <strong>50<sup>th</sup> Anniversary edition</strong> of the <strong>Gold Wing Tour</strong>. Moreover, the<br><strong>E-Clutch versions of CB650R and CBR650R</strong> are also now on sale in India.</li>



<li><strong>Business: </strong>Honda reached a significant milestone by producing its <strong>500 millionth motorcycle globally</strong>, marking 76 years since the company&#8217;s first mass-produced motorcycle, the Dream D-Type, was launched in 1949. Moreover, HMSI announced the expansion of its production capacity by adding a <strong>new production line</strong> at its <strong>Vithalapur plant</strong> in India.</li>



<li><strong>Road Safety &amp; CSR:</strong> Expanding road safety awareness in India, HMSI promoted campaigns in <strong>13 locations across India</strong> –Jalgaon and Kolhapur (Maharashtra), Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), Ghaziabad and Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Kotputli (Rajasthan), Faridabad (Haryana), Vadodara (Gujarat), Thanjavur and Chengalpattu (Tamil Nadu), Patiala (Punjab), Bhagalpur (Bihar) and Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh), Additionally, a <strong>summer camp</strong> was organised <strong>at Traffic Training Park in Hyderabad</strong>, along with the Hyderabad Traffic Police to encourage early adoption of road safety behaviour.</li>



<li><strong>Motorsports:</strong> The Honda RC213V was back on the top step of the podium thanks to Johann Zarco, with Luca Marini close to the top ten in a dramatic race of French GP. CASTROL Honda LCR rider <strong>Johann Zarco</strong> claimed a historic victory at the <strong>French Grand Prix</strong>, securing a long-awaited home win in his 150<sup>th</sup> MotoGP race start.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>GURUGRAM:</strong> Honda Motorcycle &amp; Scooter India (HMSI) today announced the launch of two powerful new additions to its premium portfolio – the <strong>CB750 Hornet</strong> and the <strong>CB1000 Hornet SP</strong>. Bookings for both motorcycles are now open, and their deliveries are set to commence from June 2025 onwards. The All-New Honda CB750 Hornet has been priced at Rs. 8,59,500 and the CB1000 Hornet SP has been priced at Rs. 12,35,900, ex-showroom Gurugram. The CB750 Hornet will be available across all BigWing Topline and BigWing dealerships, while the CB1000 Hornet SP will be sold exclusively through <strong>BigWing Topline dealerships</strong> in India.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Introducing the new premium motorcycles, <strong>Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President &amp; CEO, Honda Motorcycle &amp; Scooter India,</strong> said, <em>“The Indian premium motorcycle segment has shown tremendous growth over the years, especially among young and passionate riders looking for performance with style. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Aggressive Streetfighter Design and Striking Colour Options</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Under the styling concept of <strong>‘Aggressive X Pure’</strong>, both the CB750 Hornet and CB1000 Hornet SP flaunt a muscular <strong>streetfighter design</strong> with sharp bodywork, and aggressive tank shrouds. They also get an <strong>all-LED lighting system</strong> with a striking headlamp that enhances their commanding road presence. The <strong>CB750 Hornet</strong> will be available in two bold colour schemes – Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic. The flagship naked streetfighter, <strong>CB1000 Hornet SP</strong>, will be available in a single Matte Ballistic Black Metallic shade and its strength is given a special touch with the addition of gold accents.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Advanced Hardware and Hi-tech Features</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Engineered for high-performance <strong>fun maneuvering</strong>, both these street naked motorcycles feature top-tier hardware components. The <strong>CB750 Hornet </strong>comes equipped with a SHOWA SFF-BPTM inverted fork at the front and a monoshock damper with Pro-Link swingarm at the rear for high quality ride comfort in speed ranges on a variety of roads. The <strong>CB1000 Hornet SP</strong> features a SHOWA SFF-BP inverted fork at the front and a new ÖHLINS TTX36 at the rear for high-speed operability.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Braking duties are managed by <strong>dual front disc brakes</strong> with 310mm Brembo radial-mount calipers for CB1000 Hornet SP and at the rear it gets a 240mm disc. The CB750 Hornet gets 296mm dual front disc brakes and a 240mm disc at the rear. Both models feature <strong>dual-channel ABS</strong> for additional safety. These naked streetfighters boast a <strong>5.0-inch full-colour TFT display</strong> with <strong>Honda’s RoadSync app</strong> connectivity that allows seamless smartphone connectivity for navigation, call alerts, and music control via Bluetooth. They also get a new <strong>illuminated</strong> <strong>multi-functional switch</strong> on the left side of handlebar which facilitates operations intuitively such as adjusting multiple settings.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Brisk Performance and Electronic Aids</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Powering the <strong>Honda CB750 Hornet</strong> is a newly developed <strong>inline 2-cylinder, 755cc, 4 Stroke,<br>8 valves, liquid-cooled</strong> engine with a 270-degree crank. This motor churns out 67.5 kW of power at 9,500 RPM and 75 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 RPM. The flagship CB1000 Hornet SP is powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled<strong>, 4-stroke</strong>, 16-valve<strong>, Inline Four DOHC engine</strong> that puts out a whopping 115.6 kW of power at 11,000 RPM and 107 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM. They come mated to a 6-speed gearbox and get an <strong>assist &amp; slipper clutch</strong> as well.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The CB750 Hornet gets <strong>four riding modes</strong> – Sport, Standard, Rain, and User. The flagship CB1000 Hornet SP gets <strong>five riding modes</strong>. While Sport, Standard, and Rain modes remain the same for both models, it gets two rider customizable User modes, which allow the riders to customize it as per their preference. Additional rider aids include <strong>Honda Selectable Torque control</strong> which can be adjusted at three different levels to suit to rider’s preference, and emergency stop signal, making every ride safe. The CB1000 Hornet SP also features a <strong>bi-directional quickshifter</strong> as standard.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Pricing and Availability</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The all-new <strong>2025 Honda CB750 Hornet</strong> has priced at <strong>Rs. 8,59,500</strong> (ex-showroom), while the flagship <strong>CB1000 Hornet SP</strong> carries a price tag of <strong>Rs. 12,35,900</strong> (ex-showroom). Bookings for both motorcycles are now open, and their deliveries are set to commence from June 2025 onwards.
