This announcement was made by Chandukaka Saraf Jewels&#8217; Director, Siddharth Atul Shah, at a press conference held today. Before the press conference, the ‘CSJ Suvarna Safar’ initiative was launched in the presence of Chandukaka Saraf Jewels&#8217; Directors, Atul Shah and Sangeeta Shah. Sweety Bagi, Chandukaka Saraf Jewels&#8217; Director, was also present on the occasion.</p>



<p><strong>Siddharth Shah</strong> Said, “<em>The CSJ Suvarna Safar initiative is an extension of the brand’s commitment to providing customers with unique experiences by blending tradition with innovation. A luxury bus has been transformed into a fully-equipped jewelry showroom, allowing customers to experience the joy of shopping for jewelry in the comfort of their own neighborhoods</em>.”</p>



<p>The mobile showroom will feature an exquisite collection of gold, diamond, and silver jewelry, with experienced experts from Chandukaka Saraf Jewels available to guide customers through their purchases. The ‘CSJ Suvarna Safar’ journey begins on September 22, 2025, and will visit rural areas across Maharashtra, he added.</p>



<p>Siddharth Shah stated that this initiative aims to reach customers who may not have been able to visit their stores before, offering them an exclusive collection of modern designs and stunning varieties of gold, diamond, and silver jewelry. Additionally, Chandukaka Saraf Jewels is launching a grand festive offer for its customers during the upcoming Dussehra and Diwali season, which will be applicable in the mobile showroom as well.</p>

<p>De Beers Group, the world’s leading diamond company, and Tanishq, India&#8217;s largest jewelry retail brand from the Tata group, today announced a long-term strategic collaboration to connect more Indian consumers with the rarity and preciousness of natural diamonds and amplify the growing opportunity in the Indian market.</p>



<p>With a vibrant economy, a growing middle class, and discerning consumers who seek jewelry with enduring value, demand for natural diamond jewelry from Indian consumers has surged recently and now represents 11 percent of global demand. This has seen India replace China as the second-largest market in the world for natural diamond jewelry. <p>The collaboration will focus on building extensive consumer outreach, deepening the capabilities of Tanishq’s retail staff to communicate about natural diamonds, educating consumers about authenticity, and shaping customer experiences as they explore their desire for natural diamonds and studded jewelry. This will also be supported by a compelling 360-degree marketing campaign to build awareness and target expanding the customer base in the country, including first-time buyers.</p>



<p>The new collaboration builds on the existing relationship between Tanishq and De Beers, with Tanishq already using De Beers’ proprietary diamond verification technology to support the assurance of the authenticity of its products. The two parties are also in talks regarding opportunities to collaborate on traceability, how Tanishq’s diamond supply needs can best be met, and further opportunities to use De Beers’ proprietary technologies to support pipeline integrity.</p>

<p><strong>NEW DELHI:</strong> Aditya Birla Group Chairman, Kumar Mangalam Birla, today announced the launch of the Group’s jewelry retail business, marking the Group’s foray into the rapidly expanding Rs.6.7 lakh crore Indian jewelry market. This strategic move marks another significant milestone as the Group strengthens its consumer portfolio, leveraging its strong brand equity and deep market insights. The jewelry business, launched under the brand Indriya, aims to secure a position among India&#8217;s top three jewelry retailers over the next 5 years. This ambitious venture is backed by an unprecedented investment of Rs 5,000 Cr, underscoring the Aditya Birla Group&#8217;s commitment to revolutionizing the jewelry retail landscape in India.</p>



<p>Commenting on the launch, <strong>Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, of Aditya Birla Group</strong>, said, <em>“ The Indian consumer is rapidly coming of age and India is perhaps the most promising consumer cohort globally. This year, we have redoubled our bet on the dynamism of the Indian consumer, by launching two major new consumer brands – in paints and jewelry. Entering the jewelry business is compelling due to the ongoing value migration from informal to formal sectors, the rising consumer preference for strong, trusted brands, and the ever-booming wedding market, all of which present substantial growth opportunities. This foray is a natural extension for the Group which has been in the fashion retail and lifestyle industry for over 20 years. The robust competencies that we have honed in retail, design, and brand management will serve as pillars for our success.”</em></p>



<p>Indriya will simultaneously open four stores in three cities &#8211; Delhi, Indore, and Jaipur. The plan is to expand to 10+ cities within six months. The large 7000 sq ft plus stores— 30%-35% larger than the average size of national brands’— will carry an extensive range that spans occasions.  The brand will offer a large initial assortment of 15000 curated jewelry pieces with over 5,000 exclusive designs. New collections will be introduced every 45 days &#8211; the fastest mind-to-market cycle in the Indian fine jewelry market.</p>

<p><strong>PUNE:</strong> Malabar Gold &amp; Diamonds, one of the leading jewelry retailers, in line with its global expansion strategy, is set to open ten new stores and aims to reach 350 stores by March. Currently, Malabar is ranked as the world&#8217;s sixth-largest jewelry group and the 19th in Deloitte&#8217;s Luxury Goods global ranking.</p>



<p>The new store openings in India include Latur, Satara, and Nagpur in Maharashtra; Kolar and Whitefield in Karnataka; Jaipur in Rajasthan; Chandni Chowk in Delhi; Vanasthalipuram in Andhra Pradesh; Patiala in Punjab and Puducherry. This marks the first entry of Malabar Gold &amp; Diamonds into Rajasthan and Puducherry, expanding the brand&#8217;s presence in these states. The remaining eight stores will open in states where the brand already has a strong presence.</p>
