Known for her engaging storytelling, Kamala wrote many beloved works for children, including the much-celebrated Tenali Raman series, which later gained national fame through its televised adaptation on Doordarshan in the early 1980s.

The event also welcomed school children from Elpro International School, who were given a chance to engage with the sketches, discover the stories behind them, and draw inspiration from the creative legacy of R.K. and Kamala Laxman.
