PUNE: In line with its continued growth momentum, Suzlon has secured a repeat order of 195 MW from Sunsure Energy, taking the total sales of its highly successful 3MW platform to nearly 9 GW. This milestone reflects strong and sustained market adoption for the Suzlon 3X platform. This order builds on the ongoing partnership between Suzlon and Sunsure, bringing the cumulative partnership to nearly 300 MW across Maharashtra and Karnataka, and is expected to grow further.

With this order, Suzlon’s orderbook in Karnataka now stands at over 2 GW, marking a key milestone in one of India’s leading wind markets. Suzlon’s current installed base in Karnataka stands at 1,500MW, contributing to 24% of Suzlon’s installed base in South India.

Suzlon will install 65 state-of-the-art S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each rated at a 3.0 MW capacity. It will supply wind turbines, execute the project, including erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning. The project is set to be executed in the Bijapur district of Karnataka. In addition, Suzlon is also executing other large commercial and industrial (C&I) projects in the state, with a total capacity of 664 MW.

Digital resilience: flexible deployment and open source

To further support enterprise adoption, WSO2 introduced flexible deployment environments enabling organizations to run WSO2 platforms across SaaS, private cloud, public cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments with greater operational flexibility and consistency. The capability helps enterprises align AI and digital infrastructure deployments with evolving regulatory, sovereignty, cost, and operational requirements.

Together with the general availability of WSO2 Developer Platform for OpenChoreo 1.1, enterprises now have a unified foundation to build, deploy, and operate modern digital services and autonomous systems. Now a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Sandbox project, OpenChoreo reinforces WSO2’s commitment to open, vendor-neutral infrastructure for cloud-native and AI-driven systems. In April, SUSE and WSO2 partnered to launch an AI-Native Platform Engineering Stack combining SUSE Rancher Prime with OpenChoreo to simplify the secure development and operation of AI-native applications and autonomous agents.

Airtel Money received its NBFC license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on February 13, 2026.

This strategic expansion in India’s fast-growing financial services sector underscores Airtel’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion and empowering underserved consumers. Formal credit to GDP ratio in India is at 53%, according to Care Edge Ratings, and highlights the scope for lending in the country. 

The expansion is also a natural adjacency that will leverage the large Airtel customer base to build the next growth engine for the company and further diversify its portfolio.

The disbursement journey of the NBFC will be seamlessly integrated with the LSP platform, while maintaining clear operational segregation between the two, giving the customer a best-in-class experience.
