The record-setting journey began with the formal inauguration of the Chrysalis SME League on 3 February 2026 at Bavdhan, Pune, signalling the commencement of what would become the largest box cricket tournament ever conducted.

The league brought together 66 teams, each comprising 11 unique players, with a total participation of 726 employees. What truly set this initiative apart was its composition – every team consisted entirely of employees from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Collectively, the tournament represented 30+ industries across Pune, Mumbai, and surrounding regions, celebrating the people who form the true backbone of India’s economy.

Founded in 2012, the Chrysalis Entrepreneur Forum has grown from a close-knit group of 15 entrepreneurs into a thriving community of over 1,500 entrepreneurs across diverse industries. The forum is chaired by Manish Gupta, whose vision has consistently translated bold ideas into large-scale movements that unite entrepreneurs and their teams.

Under Mr. Gupta’s leadership, this milestone marks CEF’s third world record. The forum earlier achieved a Limca Book of Records recognition in Skydiving (2014) and a Guinness World Records title in Scuba Diving. The Guinness World Record certificate was awarded by Mr. Pravin Patel, Senior Official Adjudicator from Guinness World Records and a retired engineer from the Royal British Air Force, after rigorous scrutiny of the entire tournament. The Guinness guidelines laid down for the record were extremely stringent, and the forum adhered to them with uncompromising discipline.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Patel said: “The Forum has shown great discipline and enthusiasm in conducting a tournament of this scale. The minimum requirement for this world record is 500 participants, and the forum has successfully achieved it with 726. Guinness World Records exists to felicitate outstanding human effort, and this tournament is a true showcase of that—mobilising more than 75 organisations, 726 participants, and 135 matches played over 13 days from morning till late night. Indeed, a herculean task undertaken by the Chrysalis Entrepreneur Forum.”

BENGALURU: CrowdStrike set a new speed benchmark for cybersecurity threat detection, identifying and alerting on a sophisticated eCrime adversary attack in just four minutes during the closed-book MITRE Engenuity’s ATT&CK® Evaluations: Managed Services-Round 2. CrowdStrike Falcon® Complete MDR operates at the speed of the adversary, detecting security incidents six to 11 times faster than competitive vendors while scoring the highest in detection coverage.

MITRE’s closed-book evaluation emulated a real-world eCrime attack without giving the vendors prior knowledge of the threat scenario – creating the most accurate assessment of a vendor’s capabilities. In this scenario, the prevention capabilities of the Falcon agent were not permitted and the Falcon platform was operating in detect-only mode, meaning no automated actions could be taken to kill processes. In this rigorous setting, CrowdStrike reported 42 out of the 43 adversary techniques. MITRE recorded CrowdStrike’s mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) – the average time between when a specific attack activity was performed and an email alert regarding that activity was received – at a record-breaking four minutes, setting a new benchmark for speed in threat detection.

PUNE: YUG Foundation, in collaboration with vConstruct CSR, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a record for donating the highest number of sanitary napkins in the shortest time at Anjuman E Islam School, Bund Garden, Pune. A staggering 40 thousand sanitary napkins were distributed in just 27.02 seconds, This record is officially recognized by the Maharashtra Book of Records.

The adjudication of this record was conducted by Dr. Mahesh Thorwe, Director of MIT WP University, along with the esteemed panel comprising Dr. Mahiboob Sayyad, Working President of the Maharashtra Book of Records, Sneha Kulkarni, Secretary, Satish Rathod, Vice President, and Samrudhi Chavhan.

This feat was achieved as part of the “Give Her Confidence” campaign, a flagship initiative of vConstruct CSR in partnership with Yug Foundation, launched in 2019. The campaign aims to address menstrual health and hygiene issues among underprivileged school girls, educating them about proper hygiene practices during their menstrual cycle and dispelling associated stigmas and myths. The certificate and medal were granted recently by the Asia Head of Harvard World Record-London.

The title recognizes AR. Mahesh Nampurkar’s efforts in designing a to-scale architectural model of the courtyard for DY Patil Nursing College-Kolhapur. He was recognized for his ability to design a fully functional design within a span of 21 minutes. The documentation of the same was provided to Harvard World Record and their team post analysis confirmed the uniqueness of the same.
