PUNE: Platinum Love Bands unveils its new Season Collection — a tribute to the unspoken language shared between couples. Rooted in the belief that every love story has its own dialect, one the world may not understand, this collection transforms those quiet connections into something you can wear — something you can cherish for life.

These aren’t just rings. They’re part of your private language. Symbols of a bond so personal, only you two know the story they hold.

The collection draws inspiration from the unspoken gestures that define real connection, the quiet understanding and shared rhythm between two people. Each design in this collection reflects a quiet intimacy, the kind of love that finds meaning in shared glances and familiar silences.

Crafted in 95% pure platinum, these bands stand for a connection that is unwavering and true, mirroring the strength and resilience of the metal itself. From entwined motifs that symbolize two paths becoming one, to dual-tone details that capture the contrast and harmony within every relationship, Platinum Love Bands brings together artistry and emotion in equal measure. Sleek lines, soft curves, and diamond accents create pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless, echoing the evolving expressions of modern love.

Couples can choose from an array of exquisitely crafted platinum love bands from the new season’s collection, each reflecting their rare and unique love language.

RHYTHM OF US

Some bonds don’t fall into place — they find their rhythm, slowly, deeply, truly. These Platinum Love Bands are a reflection of your bond — different in many ways, yet always drawn back to one another. Inspired by waves, they capture your journey — a love that moves, grows, and flows, yet always comes home.

US UNTIL INFINITY

Every love story has its own path; these Platinum Love Bands reflect the unspoken promise between you — to stand by each other, through all of life’s turns. Designed with an infinity symbol that completes when placed together, they capture a love that’s infinite, enduring, rare.

LOOPED IN LOVE

There’s a quiet kind of comfort in being understood without saying a word. These Platinum Love Bands capture that rare connection — where your hearts speak to each other through glances and gestures. Designed as a flowing spiral for her and a matte-finished band for him, they reflect how two people can be beautifully different, yet perfectly in sync.

TWIN FLAMES

Like two distinct energies in perfect sync, these Platinum Love Bands celebrate a connection where differences deepen the love you share. Each ring features a flame-shaped motif — a symbol of your individual spirit, dancing in harmony. A love language of being deeply connected like twin flames — destined to be together.

THE LASTING EMBRACE

Like a shared rhythm between two hearts, these Platinum Love Bands mirror a love that needs no words. Designed with overlapping swirls, these love bands reflect the strength of a quiet presence, the kind that lifts you up by saying, “you’re never alone.” A love language of silently but surely being there — in it together.

BLENDED IN LOVE

Like two imperfectly perfect pieces that fit together, these Platinum Love Bands are a reflection of you two — different in many ways, yet coming together to create a world that’s uniquely yours. Designed with a dual-tone ridged finish that symbolizes this union of two strikingly bold entities, they beautifully fit together. A love language where nothing is hidden — where openness and appreciation for each other build a true sense of belonging.

IN PERFECT SYNC

In every step, every thought, every action, you move in perfect harmony. These Platinum Love Bands reflect this harmony. Designed with a dual-tone finish and clean, structured lines that are almost identical — just like the way you see the world, together. Where every dream is shared, choices are woven together, and every moment is lived hand in hand. A love language of being true partners.

Whether it’s the wave-like forms of Rhythm of Us, the enduring promise behind Us Until Infinity, or the intuitive connection of Twin Flames, each pair of couple bands is a quiet expression of love, commitment, and belonging.

And there’s no better metal to honour that bond than platinum — a precious metal born of the stars, found in only select locations across the world, and cast in uncompromising purity of 95%. Unmatched in strength, naturally white, it never fades, and holds every stone with unequalled security. Just like the love it celebrates — enduring, resilient, and one of a kind.

The latest collection of Platinum Love Bands is available across leading jewellery retail stores in the country and online on: https://platinumdaysoflove.com/

Royal Automobile Club of Jordan to host ceremonial start on Thursday evening

DEAD SEA (JORDAN): Nineteen-time FIA Middle East Rally Champion Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah and his Spanish co-driver Candido Carrera will be aiming to extend their perfect winning start to the season with victory in this weekend’s Jordan Rally.

The fourth round of the regional rally series gets underway from the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan (RACJ) in Amman on Thursday evening. Spectators are welcome to attend from 18.00hrs with a display of drift and competition cars also on site before the ceremonial start gets underway at 19.15hrs.

Al-Attiyah and Carrera are chasing a fourth successive win this season after victories in Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. While Carrera chases a maiden regional rally title, Al-Attiyah will be hoping that a staggering 90th MERC event win would also net him a record-breaking 17th success in the Hashemite Kingdom and yet another win with an Autotek-run Škoda Fabia RS.

The Qatari arrived in Amman from South Africa, via a brief pit stop in Doha, and has been mentally preparing himself in Amman away from the punishing heat at the Dead Sea. The team carried out a brief shakedown test on Tuesday afternoon, although the Qatari is aware that he has strong competition over a dozen challenging gravel stages in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea areas this weekend.

Al-Attiyah: “Jordan is like a second home for me. My first race was in Jordan in 1989, and we are still coming to race here. We have seen from the recce that the organisers have done an amazing job. I will try my best to win the race again.

“We started the season well with the new Fabia. We tested on Tuesday, and it was a useful test. We changed a few things on the setup, but we had a good base to build on from last year. This is my favourite rally, but we need to be clever. It’s going to be hot, and maybe some people will struggle.

Candido is a professional co-driver, and I have known him for a long time. He doesn’t just co-drive; he does all the planning for every race. I have been surprised by his performance.”

Fresh from a strong result at the recent WRC Rally of Portugal, Rakan Al-Rashed will be hoping to build upon that experience to continue his push for a first ever MERC event win in a Toyota GR Yaris. The Saudi and his Portuguese co-driver Hugo Magalhāes picked up points for second place in Oman and Saudi Arabia and fourth in Qatar to hold second in the title race, albeit 31 points behind Al-Attiyah and Carrera.

Oman’s Abdullah Al-Rawahi won the event outright on his way to the regional title in 2023 and will also benefit from the experience of local co-driver Ata Al-Hmoud this weekend. Al-Rawahi is third in the Drivers’ Championship, with points for second place in Qatar being his best result of the season so far.

Al-Hmoud said, “We have one target and that is to win the rally. It will not be easy, especially with Nasser in the Škoda RS and Rakan with his Toyota Yaris and Abdulaziz with the Citroën.

We have experience in Jordan. Hopefully, we can be at the top level of the game. The Dead Sea at this time of year is very hot. Weather conditions could be tough. I missed Jeddah (Rally Saudi Arabia) because my wife delivered two babies, two young angels, a baby girl, and a baby boy. Now I have a bigger family. We will do our best to win this event.”

Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari is the defending regional champion and also won last year’s Jordan National Championship. The Qatari has enjoyed more seat time this season in rallies and cross-country events and showed with a pair of third-place finishes in Qatar and Saudi Arabia that his Citroën C3 is more than capable of challenging for the win.

Consistent finishes have lifted Nasser Khalifa Al-Atya into fourth in the points standings in his Ford Fiesta, although the Qatari veteran is also chasing glory in the inaugural FIA Master MERC Championship for Drivers. Three maximum points scores have given Al-Atya a 42-point cushion in that new championship.

Sheikh Bader Al-Fayez, Ihab Al-Shorafa, and Bassel Abu Hamdan complete the line-up of drivers in the Rally2 category in three Škoda Fabias.

The Omani duo of Zakariya Al-Aamri and Abdullah Al-Zubair are separated by 15 points in their current duel for FIA MERC2 honours. Both Subaru drivers are hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s champion Shaker Jweihan and lift the region’s secondary championship title, although Jweihan is one of several regional drivers aiming to stop the two Omanis running away with the title.

Jweihan said: “A new stage and it’s the first of the rally. This is a long and important one. I think whoever succeeds there will carry that on throughout the rally. The car feels good, and the preparations have gone well. We will see how this rally goes and how the other guys (Zakariya and Abdullah) fit in. We will look at the results and carry on with the experience.”

Kuwait’s Jassim Al-Muqahwi, Lebanon’s Shadi Al-Fakih, and Palestine’s Hamada Uda are also chasing MERC2 honours.

The QMMF confirmed the late withdrawal of young Qatari Mohammed Al-Marri because of business commitments. But 21 cars are expected to attend pre-event scrutineering at the Dead Sea on Thursday morning, in addition to nine more solely eligible for the opening two rounds of the Jordan National Championship.

Rashid Al-Mohannadi has a commanding 45-point lead in the FIA MERC4 category. With Al-Marri’s absence this weekend, the Peugeot 208 driver faces resistance from Qatari academy rookie Saad Al-Harqan and Indian driver Payyaakkal ‘Saneem’ Panikkaveettil in his two-wheel drive Ford Fiesta.

The Jordanian duo of Shadi Shaban and Mohammed Al-Shorafa, and Lebanese Joanna Hassoun are also eligible to score MERC points in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IXs.

PUNE: The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), the world’s first franchise-based Supercross league, is back with a bang! The much-anticipated Season 2 kicks off with the opening of rider registrations on 24th April, 2025 – promising even higher-octane action, new international faces, and the return of celebrated talent from across the globe.

Following a phenomenal inaugural run that brought together over 100 elite riders from nine countries and electrified fans across Indian cities, ISRL is rapidly becoming a sought-after destination for global motorsport talent and investors. Season 2 is poised to reach greater heights with enhanced ambition, a bigger format, and added star power, most notably with superstar Salman Khan joining hands with the league as the official brand ambassador to amplify its reach and visibility. With inquiries already pouring in from international athletes and a strong homegrown lineup raring to go, the stage is set for a thrilling new chapter in the ISRL story.

Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder, Indian Supercross Racing League, said, “ISRL Season 1 was just the beginning. With the kind of global traction and home-grown talent we witnessed, we’re entering Season 2 with renewed energy and confidence. Salman Khan coming on board as brand ambassador adds to the momentum, bringing his unmatched charisma to the world of Supercross. Our goal is to build a global mega-platform that gives Indian motorsport its rightful place on the world stage. We’re thrilled to welcome back many of our international riders and see an even bigger talent pool lining up. This is going to be one wild ride.”

Rugved Barguje, 3-time Indian National Supercross Champion, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Racing in Season 1 of ISRL was an unforgettable experience. The support from the crowd, the level of competition, and the chance to race on real Supercross tracks in India—it was a dream come true. The league has changed the game for Indian motorsport, making it more organized and structured, creating a professional platform for motorsport athletes to thrive. Season 2 is going to be even more epic, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Jordi Tixier, World Champion MX2 (2014), added, “Season 1 blew my expectations out of the water. The tracks, the fans, and the constant improvements by the organizers made it truly special. India showed real passion for Supercross, and I’m looking forward to being back. I’m super excited to make more memories in Season 2.”

Brendan Sipple, International Rider for Reise Motosports, echoed the excitement: “From the fans to the tracks, everything about Season 1 was world-class. The energy, the teams, and the entire vibe were electric. I feel lucky to have raced in India, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Season 2. ISRL is creating something amazing here.”

Season 1 featured some of the biggest names in global motocross, including Jordi Tixier (World Champion MX2, 2014), Matt Moss (9-time Australian MX & SX Champion), Thomas Ramette, Hugo Manzato, and many more. From Australia to France and Thailand to South Africa, the talent was unmatched. Indian champions like Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, Prajwal Vishwanth, Sarthak Chavan, and Shlok Ghorpade raced shoulder-to-shoulder with global pros, making history on tracks designed to world-class standards.

The rider registration process covers four competitive categories:

450cc International Riders

250cc International Riders

250cc India-Asia Mix

85cc Junior Class

Interested riders can register now to be part of the mega auction, where teams will build their dream squads for the 2025 season. Please note, registration does not guarantee participation—it is the first step in joining the official rider pool for team selection during the auction process.

ISRL’s inaugural season set new benchmarks for motorsport events in India with a physical attendance of over 30,000 and a viewership of 11.5Mn in just 3 days of broadcast, establishing a new global record for a Supercross event.

Team BigRock Motorsports, led by India’s Dakar pioneer CS Santosh, emerged as champions, setting a high standard for competition. The first season successfully demonstrated India’s appetite for world-class Supercross action and laid a strong foundation for the sport’s growth.

The onset of the monsoon season brings much-awaited relief from the scorching summer heat but also raises significant health concerns. Due to weather changes and constant rains, people often experience various health issues such as dengue, typhoid, gastrointestinal infections, respiratory problems, and skin issues. The monsoon can also affect immunity, underscoring the importance of maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet. Dr. Rohini Patil, MBBS and nutritionist, advises incorporating nutrient-rich foods like almonds, fresh fruits, and seasonal vegetables into daily meals. She highlights that these foods are packed with essential nutrients that not only boost energy but also strengthen immunity.

WHAT TO EAT?

Almonds: Incorporating small changes in your life can make a major difference. For instance, consuming a handful of almonds daily and working out regularly can help maintain a healthy lifestyle and overall well-being. Almonds may appear to be tiny, but they are rich in 15 essential nutrients like copper, zinc, folate, and iron, which contribute to maintaining and boosting immunity. A strong immunity helps fight infections and other illnesses that usually occur during the monsoon season. Additionally, almonds keep you energetic, making them a perfect addition during lethargic rainy days. Dr. Rohini Patil recommends incorporating almonds into your everyday diet for a healthier and happier body.

Fresh fruits: Fresh fruits like apples, pomegranates, berries, and bananas are high in vitamins and antioxidants that help strengthen immunity and aid digestion. They are rich in vitamin C and fiber, promoting healthy digestion, preventing constipation, and reducing the risk of infections. Adding finely chopped almonds to these fruits or consuming them as snacks can make a healthy difference in our lives. Almonds are a rich source of protein, which not only provides energy but also contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

Vegetable soup and herbal tea: With changing weather, it’s important to keep your body relaxed and warm. Vegetable soup is easy to digest, helps keep the body warm, boosts immunity, and provides essential hydration. Additionally, ginger, tulsi, and lemongrass teas are beneficial for their anti-inflammatory properties and can help prevent infections. A hot bowl of soup or herbal tea can soothe a sore throat and alleviate symptoms of the common cold, thanks to their natural antibacterial and antiviral properties.

WHAT TO AVOID?

Junk food: During the monsoon season, it’s essential to steer clear of unhygienic street food and heavy, oily dishes as they can worsen digestive discomfort and raise the likelihood of foodborne and waterborne illnesses. Fried foods, especially when prepared in stale oil, can lead to bloating, and indigestion, and increase the risk of food poisoning. Opting for freshly prepared meals is advisable to prevent stomach infections, promote better digestion, and enhance overall well-being during this seasonal transition.

Stale or Leftover Food: During the monsoon season, leftover food can rapidly become a breeding ground for bacteria, leading to food poisoning. To prevent this, avoid consuming stale food and always store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Additionally, consume refrigerated leftovers within a day or two to ensure their safety and freshness.

Leafy and raw vegetables: During the monsoon season, it’s important to exercise caution when consuming certain leafy and raw vegetables due to the heightened risk of contamination and bacterial growth in humid conditions. Vegetables such as spinach, cabbage, and lettuce, often eaten raw or lightly cooked, should be avoided unless they are thoroughly washed and cleaned to remove potentially harmful bacteria. It’s safer to choose vegetables that are thoroughly cooked and sourced from clean and trusted sources to minimize the risk of foodborne illnesses during this time.

Incorporating these dietary tips during changing weather can enhance overall health and protect the body from common seasonal ailments such as colds, coughs, and digestive issues, which are more common in humid and unpredictable weather.
