Under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, residential households are eligible for central subsidies of ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, and ₹18,000 per kW for the next 1 kW, with a total subsidy capped at ₹78,000 for systems above 3 kW. To further ease adoption, Tata Power Solaroof has partnered with 15 leading financial institutions, such as SBI, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, and Indian Bank, to provide accessible loan options for Residential Customers.

As of July 2025, Tata Power Solaroof has achieved a cumulative installed rooftop solar capacity of 775 MWp in Maharashtra catering to catering to 27,910 customers, and is targeting an additional 800 MW over the next three years.
