Following its successful deployment at IVAC Canada last year, the VoiceBot service is now being launched for the Spain mission in Ireland, with plans for a subsequent global rollout.</p>



<p>The AI-powered VoiceBot is designed to operate 24/7, providing real-time, human-like interaction and delivering instant, accurate responses to customer queries. This significantly reduces wait times, eliminates dependency on traditional queue systems, and ensures consistent information round-the-clock. It addresses a wide spectrum of visa-related enquiries, from basic FAQs to detailed guidance on documentation and consular services. Furthermore, the VoiceBot will support 15+ languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Chinese, and Russian, enabling seamless engagement with customers across Europe, the US, Canada, South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, China, the RCIS region, and India, with language availability aligned to regional requirements and customer needs.</p>

<p><strong>INDIA:</strong> Global technology and digital talent solutions provider, NLB Services, has today unveiled its report “<strong>Workforce 2.0 Reset – India’s GCCs Go AI-Native</strong>”, highlighting in-depth insights on emerging technology reshaping India’s Global Capability Center (GCC) landscape, thereby bringing a paradigm workforce shift. <strong>With more than 58% GCCs moving beyond AI pilots, the workforce is projected to reach 3.46 million by 2030, adding 1.3 million new job roles</strong>. <strong>The report also estimates a significant impact in 2026 itself, indicating an 11% increase in jobs, thereby expanding personnel to 2.4 million in the sector.</strong></p>



<p>In 2025, nearly 70% of GCCs are already investing in Generative AI (GenAI), while over 60% will set up dedicated AI safety and governance teams by 2026. A remarkable 75% aim to embed GenAI in daily operations within the next year. These investments are not only driving efficiency but also reconfiguring roles. For instance,&nbsp;<strong>27% of mid-level and 25% of junior tech roles are being redesigned as AI copilots and automation tools become mainstream</strong>.</p>



<p>Sharing his perspective on the report, <strong>Sachin Alug, CEO, NLB Services</strong>, said, “<em>India is at a critical intersection in its GCC 4.0 journey, building a unique &amp; unmatched synergy of scale, skill, and talent. Today, GCCs are no longer just exploring AI &#8211; rather, many have or are moving towards deployment. While AI thrust in this sector was expected, this year has seen a stronger drive for implementation. This cements India’s move from delivery centers to AI-driven enterprises, marking a leap in innovation and governance. All of this has certainly brought new layers to the talent take-off we predicted at the onset of the year. GCC workforce projection by 2030, indicated earlier, is now set to see a 30% surge, adding 1.3 million new jobs.”</em></p>



<p>As AI becomes mainstream, <strong>entirely new roles are emerging</strong> across GCCs<strong>,</strong> including Cybersecurity &amp; AI Governance Architects (29%), Prompt Engineers (26%), GenAI Product Owners (22%), and AI Policy &amp; risk strategists (21%),<strong> </strong>symbolizing India’s shift from execution to accountability and innovation-led leadership. Simultaneously, <strong>legacy roles</strong> such as L1 IT Support (75%), Legacy Application Development (74%), Manual QA (72%), and On-Prem Infrastructure Management (67%) <strong>are being phased out</strong> as GCCs modernize towards AI-native, product-oriented teams.</p>



<p>With AI deployment further maturing, India’s GCC map is undergoing a major geographic shift, with Tier II and III gaining prominence. GCCs are inclining towards these belts to capitalize on the proposition of 10–12% lower attrition rates, 30–50% lower office costs, and 20–35% talent cost advantages compared to Tier-1 metros.</p>



<p>Sharing his thoughts, <strong>Varun Sachdeva, SVP &amp; APAC Head, NLB Services</strong>, said,<strong> </strong>“<em>By 2030, nearly 39% of the GCC workforce will operate from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, enabling our shift from metro-focused to a more distributed workforce model. While Tier-1 cities will continue to serve as centers for leadership, governance, and R&amp;D, emerging Tier-2 and Tier-3 hubs such as Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, and Bhubaneswar are rapidly becoming specialized delivery centers. <strong>The new synergy across Tier II/III cities will create 0.715 M net new GCC jobs by 2030</strong>.”</em></p>



<p>As GCCs adopt AI at scale, continuous learning and capability development have become organizational imperatives. “<em>While AI is changing the way work is done, it is not replacing people, rather amplifying human judgment and expertise with technology integration. To enable the workforce to adapt to this workforce reset, 80% of GCCs are already funding continuous learning and internal mobility programs,<strong> </strong>enabling faster, flatter, and more agile decision cycles. The top upskilling models are focused on role-specific reskilling journeys or micro-credentials (18%)<strong>, </strong>corporate academies and focused programs (17%)<strong>, and embedding</strong> AI skills into career frameworks (16%)<strong>.</strong> Moreover, 38% of GCCs are also closing GenAI skill gaps by hiring external talent, while22% are building in-house academies”,</em><strong> </strong>added <strong>Abhilash Raghavan, Chief Business Officer – GCC Vertical, NLB Services.</strong></p>



<p>India’s GCC ecosystem has also reached a defining point — where leadership readiness for AI is now the true differentiator.&nbsp;<strong>Hyderabad and Bengaluru lead this shift, with 70% and 69% of GCCs showing strong AI leadership maturity in both vision and budget ownership</strong>. These hubs aren’t just adopters but are instead shaping the global playbook for scaling AI. This leadership momentum is mirrored across industries where AI has become central to competitiveness. Telecom &amp; Internet Services (70%) and BFSI &amp; Fintech (69%) lead in strategic clarity, while Software &amp; Consulting (65%) and Media &amp; Gaming (67%) show robust budget commitment. Together, they mark a decisive shift — India’s digital-first enterprises aren’t experimenting with AI anymore; they’re institutionalizing it as a leadership and governance discipline.</p>



<p>“<strong>Workforce 2.0 Reset – India’s GCC&nbsp;</strong><strong>Go AI-Native</strong>” report also signals that AI governance is rapidly institutionalizing across India’s GCCs. 33% have established central AI committees or CoEs, while 29% manage oversight through business units under audit and compliance frameworks. Delhi/NCR (39%) and Bengaluru (37%) lead with centralized governance models, reflecting higher maturity, while Hyderabad (35%) and Mumbai (34%) favor decentralized oversight, signaling a growing push for flexibility and autonomy.</p>



<p>Progressive state policies are accelerating India’s GCC expansion, driven by strong digital infrastructure, talent pipelines, and AI-focused incentives. These frameworks, reinforced by rising STEM talent in non-metro cities, are transforming regional hubs into future-ready innovation corridors.&nbsp;<strong>As GCCs move from pilots to full-scale AI-driven operations, the next five years will cement India’s position as the global hub for AI engineering, analytics, and governance excellence — showcasing a model that blends innovation, talent, and responsible growth.</strong></p>

<p><strong>PUNE:</strong> Spherule Foundation, a pan-India non-profit organization, and SBI Payment Services Private Limited (SBI Payments), a subsidiary of State Bank of India, have joined hands to launch a transformative CSR initiative aimed at empowering 100 women entrepreneurs from marginalized communities across the Pune District. This initiative is designed to provide women with the tools, training, and support needed to establish and grow scalable and sustainable small and micro businesses. Ground-level mobilization and participant registration for this project are already in progress.</p>



<p>The program is designed to offer practical learning through comprehensive training on financial management, digital tools, entrepreneurship fundamentals, and business planning. Participants will also benefit from tailored financial assistance and business support to confidently launch or expand their ventures. Ongoing mentorship will be provided by field executives who will monitor progress and offer customized advice to ensure long-term stability and success. Also, This initiative will connect women to relevant markets and facilitate access to government schemes, enabling them to explore broader opportunities. To simplify essential processes, the program offers assistance in securing business licenses, e-Shram cards, ABHA cards, and banking tools such as Aadhaar and PAN cards.</p>



<p>While speaking about the initiative, <strong>Shri. Sujay Kumar Yadav, MD &amp; CEO at SBI Payments</strong>, said,<strong> </strong>“<em>We are honored to be part of an initiative that uplifts and supports women entrepreneurs. <p><strong>PUNE:</strong> Swapnil Kusale, who made India proud by winning a bronze medal at his debut Olympics in Paris, extended heartfelt gratitude to Amol Ravetkar by visiting his office on Prabhat Road yesterday on the occasion of National Sports Day.</p>



<p>Thanking Amol Ravetkar, <strong>Kusale</strong> remarked, &#8220;<em>During the early and critical phase of my career Amol Ravetkar provided steadfast support and provided the much-needed financial assistance for my training. An athlete related to shooting sports has to take up a lot of expenses for equipment, ammunition, and for travel to competitions. Ravetkar&#8217;s financial support in those days alleviated that burden. Timely assistance like this undoubtedly enhances the performance of an athlete</em>.&#8221;</p>



<p>On the occasion of National Sports Day, when asked what message he would give to aspiring athletes, Kusale said, &#8220;Athletes should always focus on nutrition and fitness. They should remember that great achievement is possible only with dedication and hard work.&#8221;</p>



<p><strong>Amol Ravetkar</strong> said, &#8220;<em>We are extremely pleased that Swapnil has rewarded our support by winning an Olympic medal for the country. When I first met Swapnil, he was a 19-year-old lad with a humble demeanor and big dreams. These qualities impressed me, and we decided to support him. It is heartening to see that despite his historic achievement at the Olympics, his humility and conduct remain unchanged. As a gesture of continued support, we are contributing ₹5 lakhs towards his future training and endeavors. <p class="has-text-align-center" style="font-size:24px"><em>First Indian airline to provide additional customer support in seven Indian languages</em></p>



<p><strong>GURUGRAM: </strong>Air India, India’s leading global airline, has introduced seven new languages to its round-the-clock customer support services. Customers may now opt for service in Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu in addition to the existing Hindi and English.</p>



<p>As a country, India has incredible linguistic diversity and several dialects spoken across the length and breadth of the country. By integrating these seven Indian languages, Air India aims to elevate customer experience and provide a more accessible experience for passengers who prefer to communicate in their native languages. The enhanced Indian language support reflects the airline’s vision of being a ‘global airline with an Indian heart’.</p>



<p>Air India’s IVR system will now automatically recognize the customer’s language preference based on the user&#8217;s mobile network, eliminating the need to manually choose a language, and thus reducing the response time.</p>



<p><em>“The introduction of multilingual support in Indian languages marks a significant milestone in our transformation journey. By integrating these Indian languages into our customer support services, we are not only expanding our reach but also strengthening the relationship with our customers, ensuring that every interaction with Air India feels familiar and inclusive,” </em>said <strong>Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India</strong></p>



<p>Recently, Air India has deployed five new contact centers, offering round-the-clock assistance to its customers worldwide with dedicated desks for premium and frequent flyers. Special assistance in Indian languages to Air India customers will be available from 0800 hrs to 2300 hrs IST, every day. In addition, the airline implemented a comprehensive back-office insourcing strategy to manage emails, social media, and chat support in-house which has significantly improved the quality and efficiency of customer support services.</p>

<p><strong>PUNE:</strong> On the occasion of World Senior Citizen’s Day, Mpower, an initiative of the Aditya Birla Education Trust led by Mrs. Neerja Birla, organized mental health therapeutic workshops conducted by psychologist Pooja Lodhi and Sangeeta Patel for senior citizens in Pune and Mumbai. These workshops were held at ‘Vriddha Mitra,’ led by Dr. Benazir Patil in Pune, and ‘The Narayan Chandra Trust,’ headed by Dr. Aniruddha Malpani and Director Vijay Sarate in Mumbai. The workshops, which integrated art and dance movement therapy, saw participation from 1,000 senior citizens across both cities.</p>



<p>Before Mpower&#8217;s intervention, an analysis revealed that 70% of senior citizens viewed seeking mental health support as a sign of weakness, and 80% associated mental health issues with superstitions. In India, mental health is often seen as an age-related problem, with limited efforts to seek support or help, and the stigma surrounding mental health support is particularly strong in this age group. Many senior citizens face conditions such as depression, anxiety, and anger issues—challenges that can significantly impact their quality of life.</p>



<p>Over the past two years, Mpower has worked closely with senior citizens aged 58 to 75 at Vriddha Mitra and The Narayan Chandra Trust, focusing on raising awareness about mental health and offering support through positive mind and body conversations. This sustained engagement has led to a noticeable shift in perceptions. Post-workshop analysis shows that over 50% of participants now express a willingness to seek mental health support, and there has been a 20% decrease in those linking mental health issues to superstitions.</p>



<p>Speaking on the occasion <strong>Parveen Shaikh Vice President of Operations Mpower </strong>said “<em>The mental health of our senior citizens is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of their overall well-being. At Mpower, we’ve seen first-hand how addressing mental health concerns can transform lives, breaking down the stigma and empowering our elders to seek the support they deserve. By integrating mental health care with traditional wellness approaches, we are not just enhancing their quality of life, but also reaffirming their invaluable role in our society.</em>”</p>



<p>Adding further <strong>Shruti Padhye, Senior psychologist and manages Mpower Cell</strong>, mentioned “<em>With age, our senior citizens face multiple insecurities, from changes in their independence post-retirement to increased reliance on their children. Many activities they once did independently are now curtailed, leading to a sense of loss. In India, old age is often viewed with bias, further enabling discrimination based on age, which deeply impacts the mental health of individuals over 60. Many experience episodes of depression, anxiety, uncertainty, and vulnerability. It is crucial to seek expert help to navigate these challenges, rather than dismissing them as age-related mood swings or stubbornness.</em>”</p>

If their device needs physical repair, this will be done through the centralized repair center in Noida. The walk-in center will securely pack it and ship it for servicing, after which they will communicate with the user until their device is repaired and returned to them at the center.</p>
