<p><strong>PUNE:</strong> Rubber King Tyre Private Limited successfully concluded its participation at the <strong>Intralogistics &amp; Warehousing Expo 2025, held from May 22 to 24 at the Pune International Exhibition &amp; Convention Centre (PIECC), Moshi.</strong> Known for its innovative and reliable industrial tire solutions, Rubber King showcased a wide range of premium products at <strong>Booth A-107, Hall No. 1</strong>, drawing attention from industry professionals, logistics companies, and equipment manufacturers. Rubber King Tyre, in partnership with SS Enterprises Tyres on the Pune-Nashik Highway, officially inaugurated a new regional facility in Chakan, Pune, just ahead of the expo.</p>



<p>The event, a key gathering for warehousing, material handling, and logistics professionals, served as a perfect platform for Rubber King to highlight its latest innovations—including high-performance tires engineered for forklifts, pallet trucks, and heavy-duty logistics equipment. The solutions on display emphasized durability, high load-bearing capacity, and operational efficiency.</p>



<p><strong>Raja Ghose, Senior Manager – Technical Sales &amp; Service, Rubber King,&nbsp;</strong>was present at the venue, representing the company and engaging with stakeholders and visitors throughout the three-day exhibition. <p>Adding to the momentum, Rubber King Tyre, in partnership with SS Enterprises Tyres on the Pune-Nashik Highway, officially inaugurated a new regional facility in Chakan, Pune, just ahead of the expo. The new venture is strategically located on the Pune-Nashik Highway at Milkat No. 0785–0924, Ground Floor, Shop No. 01, Medankarwadi, Khed, Dehu, Pune – 410501. This facility is set to significantly strengthen the company’s distribution and service network in Maharashtra and adjoining regions.</p>

<p><strong>PUNE: </strong>Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL), one of India’s largest integrated logistics solutions providers, announced the groundbreaking of its state-of-the-art warehousing facility in Phaltan, near Pune. Encompassing an expansive area of 6.5 lakh sq. ft., this facility will be developed in two phases. The first phase, comprising 3.5 lakh sq. ft., is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.</p>



<p>Spread over an area of 25 acres at Phaltan, the new facility will be an important part of Mahindra Logistics Ltd.&#8217;s nationwide network of multi-client facilities. Phaltan is a strategic location near key customers in auto OEM &amp; components through this warehouse, Mahindra Logistics will manage inbound logistics to manufacturing and distribution solutions of diverse clients in automotive and manufacturing sectors, located in the region. The facility will be integrated with MLL’s national network of warehouses, full truckload, and express parcel service. Phase 1 has been contracted to a manufacturing customer and will function as their national logistics center and will go live by Q3, 2024-25. </p>



<p>Amongst the largest warehouses by logistics service providers in the region, the facility will be designed as per Mahindra Logistics Ltd.&#8217;s sustainability standards.   These include measures such as decarbonization, utilization of renewable power, adherence to green warehousing standards, and active participation in local community development.  As a part of this announcement, Mahindra Logistics Ltd. also plans to dedicate resources to skill development initiatives, creating employment opportunities for more than 500 individuals in the region. The company and its partners are set to invest Rs. 170 crores in capital across multiple phases for the development of the new facility and related infrastructure.</p>

<p><strong>MUMBAI:</strong> India will need to create an adequate supply to meet an absorption of approx. 223 mn sq ft of Grade A warehousing demand over the next 3 years, find the CREDAI-ANAROCK report &#8216;India Warehousing &#8211; A Sunrise Sector. The report was released at NATCON 2022 held from in Abu Dhabi from 11-13 November 2022. An equity investment of around $3.8 bn will be required to support this scale of development. </p>



<p><strong>Shobhit Agarwal, MD &amp; CEO &#8211; of ANAROCK Capital</strong>, says &#8220;<em>Based on the data, the sector currently has &#8216;dry powder&#8217; funding of $900 mn from existing commitments.  This signifies a latent investment opportunity of a further $2.8 bn in the warehousing sector in the near future. Much of this funding will need to target Grade A warehousing facilities, which is witnessing increasing demand due to its direct and indirect beneficial impacts on overall operational efficiencies.</em>&#8220;</p>



<p>The absorption of Grade A warehousing increased from 34 Mn sq. ft in 2018 to 48.5 Mn sq. ft in 2021 at a CAGR of 12.6%, states the report. Meanwhile, supply in this category rose from 37.8 Mn sq. ft to 51 Mn sq. ft in the same period at a CAGR of 10.6%.</p>



<p>The top 7 Indian cities witnessed approx. 160+ Mn sq. ft of Grade A warehouse leasing and was highest in the Western markets of MMR and Pune, followed by the primary Southern markets of Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad, which together saw 32% of the overall leasing volumes.</p>

<p><strong>Harsh Vardhan Patodia, President &#8211; of CREDAI &amp; CMD &#8211; Unimark Group, </strong>says, &#8220;<em>Warehousing has emerged as one of the most preferred asset classes for investors and developers to balance their real estate portfolios. The warehousing segment is range bound and a high revenue generator. While the IRR is higher, the risk is lower, and production is faster. Moreover, this sector is consumption-led, unlike other sectors which a primarily developer-led</em>.&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Sectors Driving Warehousing Demand</strong></p>



<p>The top 3 sectors &#8211; 3PL, E-commerce, and Manufacturing and Automotive account for a 78% share of warehouse leasing space across 7 cities. 3PL has the highest leasing space share at 42%, given the upsurge in companies deploying their supply chain and logistics functions to 3PL players.</p>
