Speaking on the occasion, Chef Tolien said, “Kerala Cuisine is characterized by the use of coconut, chilies, curry leaves, mustard seeds, tamarind, asafetida and spices like black pepper, cloves, cinnamon. The cuisine has a multitude of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes prepared by using poultry, meat and a thrilling variety of seafood.”
Kerala, a land of Spices has many exquisite dishes to offer. Chef Tolien will bring to foodies starters like Parippu wada, Ela ada in veg and Meen pollichathu or Kozhi kurumalugu in non-veg. A variety of Rasams ranging from Tomato, Prawns, Pepper, Parippu or Koszhi will also be prepared during this fest. Patrons can taste main courses like Kappa and fish curry, Karimeen Pollichathu, Kerla Paratha and Beef Fry, Mutton Masala or the most popular dish of the region Meen Moilee. Desserts such as Semiya Payasam, Ada Pradhaman, Carrot Payasam, Cherupayar Pradaman will also be available for the food lovers.
