Tata Power was commended for its outstanding performance driven through excellence in corporate integration, superior board room performance and exploring the synergies between different business divisions and governance mechanisms.
Organised by Institute for Competitiveness, India, the Porter Prize 2015 in its fourth edition, continued its legacy of identifying the best corporates across various segments for being an inspirational force for corporates in becoming more strategic and competitive. The award was received on behalf of the organization by Mr. Chetan Tolia, Chief Human Resource Officer, Tata Power.

The Porter Prize India is a prestigious award named after Michael E Porter, professor at Harvard Business School and leading thinker in the field of Strategy. Nearly 30 companies were shortlisted across the eight award categories and the event was attended by CXO’s, top industry leaders, thinkers, and senior executives from corporates, government, and media.
