India’s favourite folk music band The Raghu Dixit Project and singer-songwriter Dhruv Visvanath entertained the thousands gathered to watch them at SIBM, Pune, last evening
Pune, 22nd November, 2016: The Red Bull Tour Bus drew another fantastic year of gigging across the country to a close, with its final show of 2016 at SIBM in Pune. The third and final stop of the west tour saw Indian folk favourites The Raghu Dixit Project return to play atop the bus, while singer-songwriter Dhruv Visvanath took the stage for the first time ever.
First up was the Delhi-based solo percussive acoustic guitarist Visvanath, who warmed up the crowd nicely with his mellifluous tunes and skilled guitar work, playing some favourites from his debut album, Orion.
Headlining on the night was The Raghu Dixit Project, whose on-stage energy and relatable music has earned them a huge following across the country and the world. The band played some of their most popular tracks, including Mysore Se Aayi and Parasiva, while getting the crowd to sing along to another favourite, Lokada Kalaji.
With this the Red Bull Tour Bus winds up a memorable year on the road, and promises an even more action-packed and entertainment filled schedule in 2017.
