“FOTOKATTA” was started by a group of enthusiastic travel Photographers as a Club to promote photography and to provide a platform to amateur photographers to showcase their work.
For the First time in Pune the Club is showcasing “On the Road Less Travelled” a solo exhibition of photographs by Atmaram Parab – one of its founding members- on some of the unique and off beat locations he has travelled to in India and Abroad.
Atmaram Parab , a passionate mountaineer, Photographer and Traveller himself has been a pioneer of tours to offbeat locations across India. Starting from his first visit to Ladakh as a part of a bike expedition in 1995, he has made more than 115 trips to this wonderful region through his Company Isha Tours .
There are many beautiful places in the world and especially n India that are unique but unknown. It is these places that we at Photo Kattaaim to share through Atmaram’s Lens.
The Photograph represents the beauty of Nature as well as some ancient and current manmade structures. They include the Moonland &Pangong in Ladakh, Radhanagari beach – one of World’s top twenty beaches – in Andaman , the Amazing Living root bridge of Meghalaya, Guru Dongmar Lake of Sikkim, the World’s biggest Monastery at Tawang, the One Horned rhino of Assam, the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland along with One of the World’s biggest Temple Complex of Angkor Wat in Cambodia , One of the 7 Natural wonders of the World – Halong Bay of Vietnam and Wild wonders of Kenya & Tanzania.
Detailed information about the places showcased as well as the ideal time to visit them can also be obtained at the exhibition. The exhibition can be of great assistance to you in planning your next vacation, away from the maddening crowds
