Pune, January 9, 2019: The Westin Pune Koregaon Park is all set to introduce a completely new dining experience to Pune City. After the success of the recently launched 24×7 restaurant Daily Treats, the hotel is back with another new restaurant at the property.
Atlas is an innovative dining experience featuring a different cuisine every month. Each month the hotel will host an expat chef specializing in the cuisine to curate a menu for the month.
The month of January will feature Sri Lankan cuisine. Although a close neighbor of India, Sri Lankan cuisine still remains unexplored. To educate your taste buds, we are hosting Chef Saman Weerakkody from Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa. Chef Saman is an expert in Sri Lankan cuisine and has an experience of over 20 years in the food industry. He is very particular about ingredients and heritage and also has a special gift for food presentation. His modern presentation of traditional Sri Lankan dishes combines delicious tastes with art to create exceptional masterpieces.
The first menu will include some of the choicest Sri Lankan dishes like Isso Wade, Srilankan Vegetable Cutlet, Sambal, String hoppers with curry, Kottu, Watalappan and much more. The interiors of Atlas are subtle, elegant and contemporary The restaurant also boasts of an exhaustive list of delectable wines and high end spirits from different parts of the world
