Bangalore, May 07, 2018: TVS Racing – the factory racing team of TVS Motor Company, continued its strong performance in the second round of FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship. Hosted in Indore, the Rally saw the riders cover a total distance of 88 kilometers over three special stages.
TVS Racing’s R Nataraj finished at P1 in Group A (Super Bike) Expert Class 1, while Rajendra RE claimed the top spot in Group B (Super Sport 260) Class 4 category, followed by Samuel Jacob who stood at a commendable P3.
The good run continued for Aishwarya Pissay, who finished at top in the Group B of Ladies Class and Imran Pasha who stood at P1 in the Group B (Super Sport 165) Class 3 category. In the Group B Scooters category (up to 210cc) Class 7, Syed Asif Ali finished at P3.
Commenting on the team’s performance, B Selvaraj, Team Manager, TVS Racing said, “I am overwhelmed with the performance of the team as we are leading across 4 categories. Nataraj, Rajendra and Aishwarya continue to maintain their top spot with exceptional performances. I am also delighted to see Imran’s performance as he has steadily made his way to the top. A special mention for the technical crew who ensured that the motorcycles were in perfect shape to take on the challenges of the Rally.”
The next round of the Indian National Rally Championship will take place in Pune on 19th & 20th May.
