USPA Active was the medal sponsor of the Pune Half Marathon that took place on 7th October 2018. The event saw the city reunite for a cause. All the fitness enthusiasts came together at Agarkar Road with a commitment to the cause of relief work in the flood affected state of Kerala. Javed Choudhari, a National Wheelchair Basketball Player and 2018 Man of the Series at the National Championship Tournament was the Ambassador of the event that saw the largest participation of differently-abled runners across India. He ran 10km on one leg and supporting crutches at the Pune Half Marathon with his ally Solonie Pathania, two times Ironman triathlete and endurance athlete. Another event Ambassador was Taranjeet Sandu, cricketer in the National Blind Cricket Team representing Punjab State. He ran 6km with his ally Vishwas Suryawanshi, Ultra Marathon runner and two times finisher of Comrades Ultra Marathon 90kms in South Africa. The winners of the marathon won a cash price worth 4 lacs.
